Happy Birthday Girlfriend!

I made this card for our very own Becky one of our super amazing DT members!  I love the A7 cards they are bigger and give you lots of room to work with!  The oval is a sneak peak of what's coming soon!  Be sure to check out our New Products section of the website often!  Terry is always adding new products.  There are so many things coming.  She just added a ton of  new albums!
I used two {ippity} sets to make this.  The frame is from Regal Greetings and the sentiment is from Life's Little Moments.  The flowers are Prima and the brads are from my stash.  The ribbon is my new all time favorite!  I got it at Hobby Lobby!  It always seems to be 50% off and comes in a lot of great colors!  I used Killer White Tear-able Tape to attach everything.  I LOVE this tape!  It is so cheap and there is so much of it!  I have been using my roll since October!

It's going to be a "Banner" Spring!

Hello there!
Becky here, blogging for my sister Kim (as usual! LOL!)!
She just finished this BEAUTIFUL banner using the Banner Die from Creative Cuts & More in a GORGEOUS Aqua Lagoon Stardream Fuse Metallic paper!

She said that she was inspired by a similar banner in this book: "Delight in the Details" by Lisa Pace. Here's a bunch of close-ups for you to admire...
Don't just love all the little touches!
Here's a couple more close-ups of one of the banner pieces:

Isn't she just so darn clever!!
It looks absolutely beautiful on her mantle!
And sooooo very easy to work with when the banner pieces are pre-cut for you from CC&M!! There are tons of great colors to choose from & other dies that you can pick-out to embellish your banner too! Hop onto the shop & browse around!!

That's it for today!
See you soon!

Classy Pyramid Gift Box

Happy Monday!!!

I hope you are having a fabulous weekend! My daughter came home from college for Spring break on Friday so we are enjoying the weekend together. Before she came home I had a chance to make this classic looking gift box to share with you.

I started with a white die cut Pyramid Box from Creative Cuts and more. I often start with white for my gift boxes because it makes it easy to decorate in any color or design you want.

I used the Foliate Quad Cube stamp from Stampendous to randomly stamp the design in black ink and then I put the Pyramid Box together with killer red tacky tape from Creative cuts and more.

The tag was made with the tag and a sentiment stamp from the Orchid Greetings stamp set from Stampendous.

Finally, I tied it all together with some white Ofray ribbon and some silver string I have had forever! I think the black and white gives this gift such a classy feel!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Fish You Were Here Fish Bowl Card

Dawn Lusk, here, sharing this Fish Bowl
card from
Creative Cuts and More!

When I got this set, Fish You Were Here from Mark's Finest Papers, I knew immediately I had to use CCM's Fish Bowl card! I just love CCM's cardstock too, this is Bazzill Criss Cross.
The scene is colored with Copic markers and adhered to the inside of the A2 card. For a more realistic "fish bowl" look, I added Mudd Puddles sand at the bottom. After letting that dry, I added Glossy Accents to the entire bowl.
*Here's a tip* (found by accident long ago by being impatient!) ...
carefully heat the Glossy Accents and you'll cause bubbles to form!

Thanks for stopping!

I Want To Share A Scalloped Album Today

How about a new album idea from me- Dawn???
Did you see all the albums on our hop this week? If you didn't you should go back to Wednesday's post and follow the links- there were some great examples this month.
I started with this simple 4" x 4" Album & Scallop Wrap Cover album design from Creative Cuts and More.
This is a picture of the finished album. I used a fun paper pad from Michael's called Mariposa. I had these fun button covers (love saving used and broken jewelery) I used one as a closure on the opening with velcro.

I used some of my favorite Killer white tearable tape- I also love the killer red tacky tape for projects like albums.
When I do an album- I like to make sure my pages stay together nothing like using the right tools for the job.
One view of a couple pages
One pocket on the left and a space for a picture on the right. So easy to make with a small piece of paper and a border punch.

Using some of the colorful pattern paper from Mariposa paper design
Both pages ready for pictures.
Two pages both with a pocket to put memorabilia or little notes. I put the small shapes to show you where things can slide in.
Did you know when you order this album you also can purchase the rings to assemble? There is also many sizes available to order in the store HERE.

I hope you enjoyed a few views of my newest album- now let me know if you have any question- would love to have you check out the albums at Creative Cuts and More and see what you can make.

Here is our Blog Hop line up, it's a tiny one today, but SO worth the trip  :)

Do you like to play in the Split Coast Stampers Challenges?

I am LOVING this File Folder A2 Card lately!
I really like joining the SCS challenges!  Creative Cuts cards make it so much easier!  I really need easy too!  This was for the {ippity} Hip Hop Twist Challenge #3!  It was a sketch.  I flipped the sketch and that worked out just fine.  They are not strict with their rules.  Really all you have to do is use {ippity} stamps!  WHY do I always grab a stamp that isn't {ippity}??  LOL  I can't follow one rule?  I'll bet my Mom might have something to say about that too!  LOL
Have you checked out Creative Cuts lately?  We have a lot of new things!  We made up a lot of movement card kits.  We now have envelopes.  Are you a scrapbooker?  Wait until you see all the albums we have!  That is our theme for this months blog hop!  Be sure to swing by on the 16th!  You won't want to miss all the super cute albums we have made!  :)
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Circle Album -What do You Think?

Greetings Everyone Dawn LL here.
This month at Creative Cuts and More us Diecut Divas  are going to showcase  albums that can be purchased in the store.
I am starting with my first album I finished.

Circle Accordion Mini Album

Killer White Tearable Tacky Tape

Now there is a piece that is included  with your kit to join the album. I chose to use some silver hinges because I wanted to give this album an altered -mannish feel.

I stamped on several of the pages with various background stamps.

Wanted to share a couple views of the other side and some of the altered pieces I have added.

I used  a few pieces of patterned paper but really wanted to keep the color of the album showing.

You can click on the pictures to enlarge if you want to see the details.

I am making this album for someone else and chose not to show the pictures they wanted

This is the front cover-I decided to use several fussy cut pieces and adhere them either on the album or attached with clips.

The cover was made with an additional piece of stamped grungeboard mounted on the cover circle.

I used several Tim Holtz / Wendy Vecchi products.

This circle album can also be ordered with the tin if you would like or any colors or texture of card stock, it is even available in acetate or chip board..

I hope you take some time to pop in and visit the store- here is the link to the various albums available.

Hope you stop back often and check out all the inspiration this month.

I ordered 3 of these great little file folder cards in the Aquamarine-Chiara Stardream Cardstock, adhered 3 of them together before sewing up the sides to create a little pocket album...

I then added some really fun embellishments from a K&Co paper line (Urban Rhapsody) I've been holding on to for a loooooooong time now! The chandelier has a button to push to make it light up! It's so adorable on the front!! (I added some Tim Holtz Rock Candy to it & it got a little curly!)
Inside, I used 3 large tags in each file folder-pocket to create mini-albums for pix! So there are 9 pages total for me to add some silly pictures of my daughter!
