Cupcake Slider Card

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a great weekend and that you got a little stamping time.

I had lots of stamping time because Hubby was perfectly happy watching the football playoffs with wifey not in the room!

I have a fun cupcake slider card to share with you today!

The card started with a die cut Pocket with Window & Tag from Creative Cuts & More. You can choose what color you want each of the pieces to be cut from. Die Cuts make it so easy to make a fun slider card that will look like it took hours to make.

I created a panel from white card stock and adhered it to the back of the pocket.

Then I taped the window pocket together with Tear-able Tacky Tape.

Then I stamped the two white panels, colored them, and added the pocket to the front of my card.

Today I’m sharing this Square Window Square Box from Creative Cuts and More.

This is a 3 pc set, top, bottom, and acetate window. It comes pre-cut and scored, ready to decorate, fill and make someone happy!

Before taping together with Killer Tear-able Tape, I embossed the top with a pretty embossing folder. I added some flowers and some punched foliage. The sentiment and doily ‘frame’ are from Our Daily Bread designs that I cut by hand.

Snowman Shaker Card

Hello All!

I have a fun little Snowman Shaker card to share with you today.

I made it with a Shaker Box with Acetate Square die cut from Creative Cuts & More and stamps by The Rubber Cafe and OCL.

When you order the die cut you have your choice of tons of different colors and type of paper.

I chose Splash Blue Bazzill Canvas Textured Cardstock.

This is what it looks like when it arrives.

It's really easy to fold on the scored lines and put together with Killer Red or White Tacky Tape.

Before closing it all the way up you simply slide your stamped image panel into the shaker box and add beads, confetti, glitter....whatever you want and the close it up.

So fun and easy and sure to impress the recipient!

Christmas is finally here so I thought I would share one last Christmas project with you!

All week long I have kept running back in my craft room for some last minute stamping!

This time it was to make this card for my husband to give to someone at work. He wanted a fun way to give a gift card and I knew that I had a few of these great

And then I finished the inside with this cute saying.

Every year I do up a little ‘something’ for our mail carrier…this year, Lisa will get a French Fry Box from Creative Cuts and More, filled with a chocolate mint cappuccino mix, a white hot chocolate mix and candy!

The Pinecone Bazzill Canvas was already cut and scored, I just used White Tear-able Tape on the tabs…easy peasy!

I thought the cute image holding a letter, from Sassy Cheryl’s was a perfect match too.

You can't really see the pink ink very well but it says "i had a fun time." I ADORE the Filigree Rectangle Window A7 Card - Vertical from CC&M! That shape makes me so happy! It is so much fun to work with!

I embossed my Unity Kit-of-the-Month stamp and colored it with Stickles. Quick and easy and a perfect thanks for my 14 year old who made sure today was fun!

The paper/ribbon is secure as can be with some Killer White Tear-able Tape!

HEART SHAPED WINDOW ALBUM

Hello Divas!!!

This chipboard album comes from Creative Cuts and More and is called the Heart Shaped Window 6 x 6 Album. The leaf ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I also used Creative Inspiration Paints Aquamarine and Light Purple. This paint adds just the right amount of accent and shimmer! I used the gorgeous Butterfly Single and Die and Faith from Our Daily Bread Designs. I also used the Ecstasy Crafts Small Template

The second page of our album is this picture of my husband and I! As soon as you pull a camera out, his eyes close or he grimaces!

From Creative Cuts and More, I used the Petite Heart die cut in double sided adhesive and added Martha Stewart glitter to it.

On my third page, I created a pocket with a 4" x 4 1/2" card stock and scoring at a half of an inch of three sides. I mitered the edges and using Killer Red Tacky Tape adhered it to the album. I had three of my children write a note of things they love to do with Grandma and added a punch tab to them.

The stamps that I used the stamp set called Don't Worry and the ZVA Pearls Double Flourishes.

Square cards are my favorite! Just like a 12 x 12 scrapbook page! Add scallops and it is really more than love! Then turn it into a Window Square Scallop Card, so fantastic and the options are endless!

This week I picked the Oval Window Square Scallop Card, it was hard to pick just one! So, I didn't. I picked several!

Chocolate a strawberry cake anyone???I love a great dessert that doesn't put on any calories! This one layer small scalloped cake from Creative Cuts and More is just the ticket.

After it was all together I thought it needed some pearls-these were from Pizzazz Aplenty.

I thought this one layer would be a fun idea for a Birthday gift ,they could keep it around till the next person has a Birthday and pass it on. Kind of like that Fruitcake you get at Christmas, but so much prettier!

COCOA APRON POCKET CARD

Hello Divas!!! Welcome to the Die Cut Diva Blog! This is Chrissy D!!! Every Christmas, I love to make little gifts for family and friends. These wonderful Die Cuts make it SO EASY to create CUTE gifts!

I used the WHITE TACKY TAPE to hold this cute Apron together. Have you tried it yet? Terry has this available for such an AWESOME DEAL!!! Give it a try, You will LOVE IT!!!! You can tear it and it holds like the Red Tacky Tape.

I started by running the APRON POCKET Card and ran the pocket portion through the Big Shot and used the Cuttlebug folder. I then sponged White Craft Ink over the embossed area. I then stamped with the White Craft Ink the 4 in 1 Snowflakes from DRS Designs. I wrapped some ribbon around the base stamped the cute Cocoa and Marshmallow mug on the called Labels Nine card stock. The sentiment on the inside goes perfectly with the adorable image. It is called the Cocoa and Marshmallow Greeting from DRS Designs.

I threw in some Cocoa and a Candy Candy and WAH-LAH! I have a nice, inexpensive gift that was fun to make!!! What could be better than that??? (Well, besides drinking the cocoa, that is! *wink*)

Happy Birthday Tuck & Close Bag

Hi! I'm sharing 'just a little something' that looks like you spent hours to make, but only took a short time!

My daughter-in-law's birthday is also Christmas day...so I always try to make her card or gift bag as far away from looking "Christmas" as possible. This time I chose a Tuck and Close Bag, XL, in Bazzill Criss Cross Forget-Me-Not from Creative Cuts and More!

It's so easy...every die cut comes pre-scored, all you have to do is assemble and decorate! This particular die cut has one seam to stick together, and that was easy with White Tear-able Tape!

I love the flaps on this box!

I'll tuck a check or giftcard inside, but it's plenty big enough to hold some large items!

Hi there! It's Nora Anne here today sharing a Christmas tag with you! I have been following Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of Christmas, but haven't made any using his techniques. However, I was inspired by them to make a tag with some of his products.

I wanted to make a larger tag to show off more of the embossing folder, so I thought the Slash Pocket with Tag #05 would be PERFECT for this!

I ADORE The Banner #04 Album & Chipboard Set!

I apologize for the bad picture of Carlee. It does not have a crazy film on it. LOL

I decided for this one I am only punching one hole for a single ring. You can see it in the corner there. I want this one to turn just like a normal album. The last Banner Album I did I put two rings on the top of the pennant. One more thing I love about these shape albums. I get to decide where to put the rings. The possibilities are endless and I LOVE that!

I have not mentioned the Killer Tapes lately. I also really love the red and the white tear-able. The prices can not be beat!

Elf Pocket Card

Hi everyone, it's Taylor here today with a cute holiday project to share. I adore the Elf on the Shelf tradition, and so do both of my kids. My six year old looks forward to "Elfie" (great name, huh - she picked it when she was three!) coming all year and this year my 18 month old is obsessed with waving to him. It is SO sweet. With that said, let's get to my project for today:

I decided to make a pocket full of gift tags. I started with my main image, and put him on the outside of my library pocket die cut from Creative Cuts and More.

The insert card has a different image on it. I embossed both the pocket front and the insert card; the insert card I used the debossed side as the front for a little bit of fun.

Both elves are colored with Copics and have flock on their collars, hats, and gloves. I couldn't resist adding a bit of softness!

I tied twine around my insert card (and the gift tags as well) and will eventually add a plain cream card stock piece with a note to the recipient. I'm just not sure who is going to get these sweet tags yet!

Angel Watching Over You

Paper piecing is what I have to share today.There are many die cuts available at Creative Cuts and More-and todays's projects are a good example of what you can do with a little imagination.

This first project is a thinking of you pop up card with several images It could be used for Christmas but I liked the idea of a positive thinking of you card.I was lucky to have the opportunity to play around with several of these die cuts in various colors. Each die cut has perforations that make it easy to snip and mix and match the colors and layers.

How about a side view? Did you know you can also purchase card bases from Creative Cuts and More that work to make pop up cards.

Golden Elegance

Hello Everyone,

Today I am here to share a fun display piece I put together. I sure hope you like.

Let me share a few of the steps in the process of making this project.

I started with a scalloped cake form,RRR Checkerboard Satin Old Gold Ribbon , tulle, and Tearable Tacky tape.

The tearable tape was put down first.I cut small squares of tulle to decorate the card board- I wasn't thrilled about the silver on the design-So I had to cover.

I used this yummy RRR Checkerboard Satin Old Gold Ribbon .

I like how this looked gathered on the base.

Wanted to share the Cake Slice Box Set #01--Two Tier

from Creative Cuts and More. I also chose to add half of Cake Slice Box Set #01 - Small, Dress & Tuxedo Box Set.

This is one of my favorite projects to make for many occasions. I used

RRR Checkerboard Satin Old Gold Ribbon .on the layers along with the tulle.

I added some vintage buttons and gold berry sprays and tulle picks from my supplies.

Picture Frame Fold-Up

I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving! I think I'm still full! LOL

I ordered the Picture Frame Fold-Up Card from Creative Cuts and More intending to put a picture in it, but... when I started this card, I really liked the idea of slipping a quote in! Having the extra flap of the 'frame fold-up' makes the inside totally finished! Cool!

I stamped the front with Honeycomb Background and the quote in Distress Wild Honey (so appropriate! lol). The quote and image are from Simple Things. These are both peeks....shhhh.
The Picture Frame Fold-Up is Bazzill Criss Cross Sugar Cookie, I love it with the Honeycomb! I love the textured Bazzill cardstock. Check them out here, in sooo many colors! Yum!

I put it on a piece of black just to make it pop!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi! Nora Anne here today :) I hope you are all spending the day with family today and that you all have a lot to be thankful for.

I'm sharing a quick project today that can be made in minutes. The pages were a free download from Bella Blvd. I will be passing this around the Thanksgiving table today so we can all record some memories from this Thanksgiving.

I started with 8x8 lightweight chipboard pages and cut them down a bit to fit the printout pages. Now I have extra chipboard pieces to die cut some other little embellishments for the cover. After punching holes with my Crop A Dile, I held it all together with 1" Album Rings. One of my favorite parts in putting together this album, was the ease in which I could do so using the Killer White Tear-able Tacky Tape. I am addicted to this stuff, the fact that it's tearable makes it so easy!

I will be back next week to show you the finished inside after we all share!

Welcome Back!

I hope you had a terrific weekend! I was very busy as the director of a huge Marching Band Field Tournament that was held at my son's high school this weekend. I've run this event for the last four years and this was my final year. We had a lovely day with no rain on Saturday and while it rained on Sunday during clean up I didn't mind at all!

Once I got home and got dry and warm again I remembered that I needed to make a birthday card for a friend on another design team. I didn't have much time, energy, or mojo so I reached for my old favorite, Square Scallop die cut card from Creative Cuts and More.

It was so easy...just added some layers of paper and a large digital image from Paper Pretties stamps, "Pretty Present", that I colored and fussy cut before attaching a tag stamped with a sentiment from Everyday Sentiments and adhering to the card with pop dots.

I suggest you always have a few of these Square Scalloped cards on hand in a few different colors because it really makes it fast an easy to made a quick and fabulous card!

Oh Christmas Tree

I am so excited to share with you a project I made for Creative Cuts and More- I shared it with Laura at Paper and Pixels Magazine. Let me tell you I was blown over when she asked if she could share it in the magazine. Each magazine goes out on the 15^th of the month.

Advent Calendar Tree Set from Creative Cuts and More

Basic Tree Directions:

1. Fold (crease) each Tree on its fold lines. This will help your project go much smoother.

Note: At this point I decided to emboss my tree. If you choose to do this each tree will have an embossed side and de-bossed side.

2. Place a strip of your Killer Red Tacky Tape on the top to connect the two pieces. If you wanted to stamp a design or insert pictures it should be done now.

Note: I chose to use miniatures in each of the windows so I didn’t add anything at this point.

You want to make sure all pieces line up and stay together. Using an aggressive two sided tape like Killer Red Tacky Tape - 1/8" really makes sure it stays. Be careful not to glue the windows down. Once you have the tape down you can use your finger or the bone folder to burnish down the tape.

Work carefully and make sure all the backing pieces are attached to the tree fronts.
Next you will need to add tape to the back of the insert sheets; you don’t have to worry about the windows being covered on the backing pieces.

Work carefully and remove strip from tape from only one side at a time.

You will be joining half of one side of the tree (Backing side) to the next one half of the next tree. Continue to do this with all four tree pieces.

There is also a present designed tree stand in the kit to use for the base.

Note: I used miniature buttons, iron on patches, mini ornaments to adorn my windows.

Hi everyone, Fern here and I want to share with you the mini album I made using the Creative Cuts & More Gingerbread House Album Chipboard Kit..You can either make a recipe album or a photo album. And you can decorate them with the traditional Christmas colors, or like me, use non-traditional colors... I love the vintage look of this one and I hope you do too.. So sit back and enjoy...

Happy Monday!!!

I spent the weekend in San Diego at my Sister's wedding! My daughter and I were 2 of her 13 attendants. Yep...BIG wedding. It was a great time and we are very happy to finally have married her off to her high school sweetheart who she has been "dating" for 15 years!

But because I was gone all weekend I didn't have time to work on today's post. Lucky for me I all ready had this great High Hopes image colored and set aside so I grabbed a 5 1/4" square Scallop Card from Creative Cuts and more and threw this card together!

The die cut card was cut from Walnut Bazzill Canvas textured card stock. I backed the image with kraft paper and then adhered it to the card. I also added a strip of Kraft paper to the right edge behind the scallop edge. Then I tied the ribbon around the left side of the card and "wa-la"! All done!

That's one of the things I love about Creative Cuts & Mores die cut 5 1/4" square Scallop Card.

It makes it really easy to make a great card because the scallops are all ready there!

That's also why I always have a stash of colored images for those last minute card needs!

Zinnia Gift Bag

Hi everyone! It's Taylor here today, sharing a cute little Tuck and Close Bag I whipped up the other day. Creative Cuts and More actually has several variations of this design; this bag is #01. I made my bag a bit differently, because I wanted the flap to be shown on the front. I measured it all out, masked off the handles since I didn't want to stamp on them, lined up my stamp so that the image would overlap perfectly, stopped to take something away from my toddler....and stamped the image wrong!! Oops!

Why am I 'fessing up to making this wrong, and still sharing it with you? I think it is important to not be a perfectionist all the time! Let's face it - we all make mistakes, and it teaches a good lesson. Take what you've got and make it work for you! I added a big bow on the flap, which doesn't keep the bag from opening, and you really don't notice that I stamped the image wrong on it.

When assembled, this bag (which does not need any adhesive to construct) measures 3-1/4” wide x 5-1/2” high x 1-1/2” deep. It's perfect for holiday gifts!

Square Box #1 - It's a hoot

Danielle here today, my project today is a nice gift box. I called it "It's a hoot" and made it with the Square Box #1 Diecut. The box folds together really nicely together. There is room inside for a giftcard or some chocolates. I put some candy inside here for my aunt.

Once again I have a quick Popcorn Box that I have put together in seconds...
I used some of my favorite Killer Red Tacky Tape - 1/4" to hold it all together .I added a fun ribbon border on the top and bottom.
I added a yummy ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and a couple flowers from Prima.I pop dotted them to one side so the box can be opened and not ruin the decoration.
Isn't this a great idea to use for a gift? What would you put in this one???

Tuck Top Christmas Box!

Hi, Dawn Lusk here, with a quick and easy gift box! This is the Tuck Top Cube Box from Creative Cuts and More. Everything comes cut and scored...ready for fun!

I say quick and easy because all I did before putting it together was run it through with an embossing folder... there it only ONE seam that needs tape or glue! I used White Tear-able Tape. The bottom easily folds up and "flaps" together! What more could you ask for!!

I added an embossed band, stamped and embossed in gold, and a bow and pine bough. The image set is from Our Daily Bread designs.

JOY TO THE WORLD TWIST

Hello Divas! Are you getting into the Christmas Spirit? Honestly, I can not believe HOW FAST this year is going!!! Can you? I found out last week, we are celebrating our family Christmas with my husband's side on Thanksgiving. That really cuts my shopping time even shorter!!!

See this Twist Card??? Creative Cuts and More totally simplifies this by doing ALL of the cutting and the scoring! I love it! I can go to my box and grab the card and CREATE!!! I love using these die cuts - especially when I am in a time crunch!!!

Let Me Share Some October Projects from our Guest Patti G

Sorry for not posting these sooner, our guest for October, Patti G from Cherish Each Precious Day has finished her visit with us.
Let me share some of her projects- you will love them!

Isn't this the creepiest idea? That is good, and a fun project to share.

The first is a color-blocked card. I chose to use the cream base, with an orange grid. I had a good time testing many of my forgotten stamps, trying to find the right fit for the openings.

Stamps are Inkadinkado and Hero Arts. Coloring was done using colored pencils and mineral spirits. The Designer Paper was from an Autumn Mat Stack by DCWV.

I started with the Apron Die Cut. Added some great designer paper from The Paper Studio. Mmmmm....Pumpkin Pie? Who can resist that? Added a Tag Die Cut, a sentiment from Hero Arts, and a bit of green seam binding ribbon from Stampin' Up.

I want to thank Patti G for being our guest and sharing so many wonderful projects. I know she gave me lots of ideas.Hopefully Patti G will come back again to visit.

Happy Halloween Square Scallop Card

Happy Halloween!!!

Now that my kids are grown I don't get too in to Halloween and sorta hate the hassle of the trick or treater's because my dog just barks all night and the bugs fly in the house every time I open the door but I do still decorate my house and I love all the cute images available for stamping!

So in the spirit of the day I just had to share one last Halloween card with you!

Another Halloween Card

Although many of us got snow last night, it's still the Halloween season, so I thought I'd share another quick Halloween card today using the Slash Pocket with Tag #05 set. These are super cute and are great for gift card holders too! You can just add a little notch for the gift card on the back of the tag, or attach it with repositionable tape.

I hope you are staying warm and dry wherever you are today! It's a great day to go shopping for your holiday project needs!

5 Minute Faux Leather Purse!

Hi! Dawn Lusk here... a tad late, but hey, it's my birthday, I'll blame it on getting forgetful in my "old age" LOL!!

In order to still make a post today, I had to think of something quick and easy. With the holidays coming up (or any occasion for that matter!), I went to my stash of Creative Cuts and More goodies and found this Purse A2 Card.

In just 5 minutes I was able to create this darling faux leather gift card holder!

All I did was run my Purse through my Cuttlebug with my Kassie's Brocade embossing folder, drag my Brushed Corduroy distress ink over it then, using a sponge, I added some Pumice Stone distress ink. I took my Versamark pad and "smooshed" (technical stamping term!) all over, sprinkled with clear embossing powder and heat set! Voila! You could add a button as a faux closure too.

Easy peasy... everything from CCM comes pre-cut and scored, giving you lots more creating time!!

Hi everyone, it's Taylor here again today. I'm sharing another holiday card I've added to my pile - I try so hard to get ahead with these before the holiday rush sets in. Yesterday I realized that November starts next week - yikes!!!!

The sentiment on this card is stamped on a die cut ornament from Creative Cuts and More. Specifically, it's part of the Christmas Ornaments #02 mini ornament set. It comes with four ornaments, two of each style, in whatever color you choose. My pretty silver snowflake came from there too - it's Snowflake #01 mini, and also comes with four little die cut snowflakes in it.

Both of these are perfect accents for holiday cards, don't you think? I know I'll be using tons of them this season!

Coffin Box ~ Spooky with a touch of Elegance!

Hi everyone, Fern here with today's spooky reveal!! With Halloween just around the corner I wanted to share with you this cute project I've made using the Creative Cuts & More Coffin Box .. I've embossed it with the Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes Embossing Folder and then went over it with Tim Holtz Pumas Stone Distressing Ink. I decorated it with leftovers in my stash from scrapbooking kits I have received in the past ..

These are so easy to assemble since they already come scored.. And the best thing to hold them together is Creative Cuts & More Killer White or Red Tacky Tape. After you fold and tape the sides you are ready to decorate.. You can do a little or a lot that's totally up to you... When that's done.. just add candy and now you have a cute treat favor box that any goblin would love!!!

Wizard Of Oz Shape Album from a Castle (Lots of Pics)

Yes, that title says it all.There is a great die cut album from Creative Cuts and More called Castle Mini Album & Chipboard Set.I decided to do a project with three of my friends using this albumWe all started with four pages-two acetate and two chipboard. We all purchased the Wizard of Oz paper in 8 x 8 to work with.

Winter Sliding Pop-up

Dawn Lusk here, sharing an easy yet... did she spend all day making this... Winter card using Creative Cuts and More Sliding Pop-Up.

You can choose which way you want your card to "open", I chose sliding to the right to accommodate my images. It's so easy with everything coming pre-cut and scored!

These are a real favorite of mine...which reminds me, I need to go shopping at Creative Cuts and More and place an order! This was my last Sliding Pop-Up!!

Hi Everyone, it is Noelle posting today! I don't know about your house but at our house every year we decorate a gingerbread house. We have never figured out why our grocery store sells them in the produce department but they do! I think this year we will need 2 because my youngest will be 4 and ready for her own! That will be perfect for lots of ~~messy~~ pictures!

Every year I decorate the Gingerbread Man #02-Large from Creative Cuts. He is so perfect for a scrapbook page! Or even a card. I wish I would have waited until the Stickles were dry to take a picture. Her mouth really isn't all you see when you look at her now. LOL I can't wait for next year I will have Carlee write her Christmas cards on one side for all the teachers and then we can decorate the other side!

Hey everyone, it's Taylor here today! I am absolutely in love with these Banner #01 (small) thingamabobs (yes, that is a technical term!). They make adding a sentiment so easy - who doesn't love easy?

On this clean and simple card I started with the Banner #01 from Creative Cuts and More and stamped a sentiment on it. I folded the banner along the pre-perforated lines, but you certainly don't have to. Or you could fold it and tuck those ends more underneath (instead of popping it up so much like I did). Either way, it's a great way to make a statement!

Halloween Treat Boxes

It's almost Halloween!

I thought I would share a couple of cute ideas for giving out goodies to those little special kids in your life.

Both of these boxes are die cuts from Creative Cuts & More.

This one is Matchbox #01 Large cut from Orange Bazzill Canvas Textured Cardstock.

I decorated it with stamps from The Rubber Cafe.

This box is the Coffin Box which I had cut from Black Neenah cardstock.

I embossed the images from The Rubber Cafe with white embossing powder.

Both of these would be a lot of fun to send in to your child's classroom for a Halloween treat!

They are quick and easy to make and go together easily with some Killer Tacky Tape.

I made a napkin and a place mat, and a chair name tag just for you!

All of these shapes were cut from Velvet paper in some of the best fall colors around.

Did you know that Creative Cuts and More has velvet Paper? You can have almost all die cut shapes cut from this great medium.

I used a wonder under fabric adhesive to attach to the place mat and Napkin. All it took was a warm iron on a hot setting and no steam.

I decided to use a couple stamps to decorate the pumpkins and a few leaves. Stazon ink works best on this felt paper.Didn't have any problems with bleeding or smearing.

Now if you let me know the correct spelling of your name I can personalize your name on this adorable

A Thanksgiving Pop-Up!

Standing Pop-Up Card from Creative Cuts and More.

I got to thinking, how cute would this be as place setting name tags for Thanksgiving dinner! Hmmmm...I just might have to do that!

With everything coming pre-cut and scored, it's a snap to embellish and put together! Before putting the base together with White Tear-able Tape, I embossed it with my Autumn Type embossing folder. The image is from Mark's Finest Papers, colored with Copics.

Hello, It's Noelle posting today. I love this Circle Window A2 Card with Mat it is so quick to put together. It is also available without the mat.

This card didn't photograph well, but in real life I LOVE the look of it. Clear embossing powder with a little sparkle on dark paper makes me HAPPY! OK, anything embossed makes me happy but I love this even if it doesn't make a great picture!

The stamps are Thankful For You by {ippity}

The ribbon is from my stash.

The embossing powder is Polysparkle by Ranger.

Hi there! It's Taylor here today, with a very special card to share. This is my sample for my Hope You Can Cling To challenge over at Splitcoaststampers today! My challenge is to FIGHT LIKE A GIRL - create a card or project with girlie embellishments (including, but not limited to, pearls, lace, bling, ribbons, flowers, glitter, or whatever you can think of!).

I used a chipboard tag (Tag #02) from Creative Cuts and More as the starting point for my card. The card base is 5 3/4" square, so you can se how big the chipboard tag is! I painted it with white acrylic paint, and then brushed some pink paint on top of that. I stamped the large Cling Jumbo Dahlia flower on the left part of the tag, and then stamped the sentiment towards the right side. Using a glue pen (Martha Stewart) I added glitter where I wanted it on the sentiment. Then I sprinkled Shabby Pink embossing enamel straight onto the tag, and heated it from underneath to melt it in chunky splotches.

I stamped the Dahlia again in the top right corner of my teal card stock, and used Clear EP to emboss it. I added the tag to the card using dimensionals, and a bit of bling in the corner. My fab sheer pink ribbon has sparkly bits on the edges, and the lace adds a bit of contrast.

I Am Batty Over You!

I know I am not fond of REAL bats- but these paper and acetate bats from Creative Cuts and more really were fun to play with.

I made a few designs usingacetate and black card stock BAT CARD. There are also a couple different sets available if you want to check out BAT CARD WITH FANGS or BAT CARD WITH FANGS AND EYES.

My first design was made with Black flocking- oh my that stuff is crazy-Have you worked with it?I would STRONGLY suggest using an embossing buddy if you are going to use acetate and flocking.

My second project is a black cardstock and acetate bat put together- love how it stands up!

My third design is really my favorite. I used a sparkle silver card stock to accent the wings and make feet and Ears.

I found a fun "recipe" on-line for Bat Wing Stew-The card is matted and slipped in the mouth.

I added a little piece of velcro and attached a bow tied to hold the wings closed.

How about a view of the wings closed and the feet peeking out?

Hi and Happy Friday to everyone! It's Nora Anne posting today, sharing another card (that's my thing lately!) I'm working on a mini album or two, but things have been slow going there. Hope to have them ready to share SOON! In the meantime, I love using the A2 card bases to make a fast and beautiful card (I know you've heard me say this before, but it is oh so true!)
I started with an A2 card base in Bazzill Canvas Java and put this card together in just minutes! These are great for when you are busy and on the go, running from birthday party to birthday party! Also a great jumpstart for holiday cards, saves SO MUCH TIME! I am all about that! *wink*

Remember, it's never too early to start thinking about teacher gifts, co-worker gifts and class treat bags/boxes for the holidays!! Creative Cuts and More has everything you need to save time while making something with a WOW factor to impress all your friends! *wink*

Orange Halloween Mini Album

I started with TWO 4 x 4 albums from the Creative Cuts and More store.I combined to make a really full project for my daughter.

***This is not an album for a child-It has pictures of my daughter and Daughter-in-law wearing various costumes for Halloween***

The front cover was decorated with a shaker cup adorned with a pumpkin Picture Frame in Tacky Tape.

I used various embellishments and Halloween papers.

I had some glitter chipboard letters to spell out Halloween added on the ends of each page. I staggered the placement on each page.

I used Killer Red Tacky Tape to put this project together

I used a Witch On Broom small die cut shape.

On a lot of these pages I used various Halloween images that I had colored.

I had some small webs to add on the corners. I chose to tie the album together with ribbons. Did you know you can buy Album Rings from the Creative Cuts and More store.

Yes, you have made it to the end- the back cover is a fun round stamp I have had in my supplies forever.

This was a great album to play around with,the project will be a gift for my daughter and she can fill it with more photos of her and her friends.

Basic Tree Directions:

1. Fold (crease) each Tree on its fold lines. This will help your project go much smoother.

Note: At this point I decided to emboss my tree. If you choose to do this each tree will have an embossed side and de-bossed side.

2. Place a strip of your Killer Red Tacky Tape on the top to connect the two pieces. If you wanted to stamp a design or insert pictures it should be done now.
