Its the Little Things Layout

Today I have a layout to share with you!
I have gotten quite hooked on these large scalloped circles. I found the hinges to be quite fun to play with too! On another project, I inked them then used crackle medium over them for a really cool look! Then there are the flowers. I don't believe I will ever have enough of these flowers! I love their shape and how well they layer!

Here is a little tip: The pieces of the scalloped circle that went over the edge and I cut off, work perfect for cards!

Purse Note Card

Creative Cuts and More Pink Purse

I used the Purse Note Card die cut here. The holes I put the ribbon through are part of the die cut, how easy is that, I ask you? This looks fairly labor intensive, but because I started with a die cut, it was not! Remember, you can have this purse cut out of any of dozens and dozens of papers! I started by using A Chemistry With Paper's set, Stlylized Flowers. I stamped one of the solid little flowers in Pixie Pink Craft Ink randomly all over the outside of the purse. I poured on the Iridescent Ice embossing powder and heated. Then I did the piercing and faux stitching. One thing I would do differently next time is start with the piercing and faux stitching, as my Signo white gel pen was quite balky when it came in contact with the embossing powder and stray bits of glitter. It almost met its demise, as I won't tolerate recalcitrant tools in my stamp room. Either perform satisfactorily, or get out, that's my philosophy. I decided to give it one more chance, since there were extenuating glitter circumstances. Apparently, not everybody loves glitter and EP as much as I do! Then I chose and layered my flowers. I got them placed perfectly by setting the large Heidi Swap flower where I wanted it, and making a mark through the hole. I used a piece of velcro to hold the purse closed, which was not a good idea, because I ripped it when I opened it to take the picture. Creative Cuts and More sells these little magnets by Basic Gray designed specifically for this purpose, I guess I'll be buying some of those, now won't I? If you order any purse die cuts, don't forget to add a package of the slick little magnets to your cart!

CREATIVE CUTS AND MORE CAARDVARKS HOLIDAY BLOG HOP

Hello Die Cut Lovers! It's coming TOMORROW! What you ask???

Tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. MT time we will be starting the Caardvarks & Creative Cuts and More blog hop! This Blog Hop is going to last THREE FUN filled days. You will be WOWED by all of the ideas and eye candy. There will be NO TRICKS and lots of treats!

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Chrissy D

Yeah! It's Officially Halloween Today!

I wanted to share with you a great way to showcase die-cuts. I found this fun tree and thought it would be perfect for Halloween. Add some Creative Cuts & More die-cuts, gauze and sparkle and you have instant boo-factor!

Here are the die-cuts I used on the tree: Pumpkin Large and Small, Spider, Witch, Black Cat, and Tombstone. I mixed up the textures by using some acetate, Bazzill {with and without texture{, tacky tape and felt.

Some ways to accent them are: emboss them with your Cuttlebug, Glimmer Mists or Shimmerz, Doodlebug Glitter and Crushed Velvet, stamping on acetate and Stickles. I am sure there are more but this is what I did on this project.

Happy Halloween!

I can hardly believe Halloween is tomorrow! I used the witch and spider die cuts from Creative Cuts and More to make these "wicked spooky" cards.

I used the coffin box, acetate box, small pumpkin and larger flourish to make this (quick and easy) spooky set:

Have a safe and Happy Halloween!

Season's Greetings House

I have been so inspired by the A2 Four Pane Window cards from Creative Cuts and More, I just couldn't resist trying to create a house with this. The four pane window card is die cut from Carob Cream Bazzill Smoothies cardstock, and I also asked for a snowman die cut (using Glass Slipper Bazzill Bling Cardstock). I have had such a great time being a Guest Designer for Creative Cuts and More this month.

You would not believe how easy and how fun it was to put this house together. For the roof, I punched out some small circles from an olive cardstock and glued them down on a triangle of cardstock. I wanted some snow on the roof, so I smooshed a white inkpad across the little circles. I added the sentiment with a little cluster of holly leaves and berries. The little red berries as well as the black buttons on the snowman are some cute little skittles that Creative Cuts and More sent to me with my order.

For the snow down on the ground, I tore some white cardstock, and applied stickles to the upper edge of each snow layer before gluing the layers together. The snowman's hat was colored with a black copic marker, and I dotted in the eyes and mouth with the marker.

Inside the window, I adhered a tree that I stamped and cut out of designer paper. I used a red designer paper that sort of looks like wallpaper behind the tree for a festive and Christmassy feel. The star is just freehandedly cut out with scissors and then covered with yellow stickles. The tree needed some ornaments, so I used some tiny little rhinestones so they look like little glass balls on the tree.

Why don't you go check out Creative Cuts and More to get started on your Christmas cards? They have all kinds of different die cut cards to inspire your creativity. I hope this Holiday House card has inspired you today. :-)

Cupcake Box

Creative Cuts and More~Cupcake Box

Honestly, I think I love Creative Cuts and More as much for the beautiful papers they offer as for all the cool dies! This Cupcake Box is cut out of Caramel Curious Metallic paper. If I was going to do a wedding or a bridal shower, these would be the colors! I started the box by stamping A Chemistry With Paper's branch stamp from Stylized Flowers in Brilliance Chocolate. I embossed it in Ranger's Hologram. I worked one side at a time, before I put the box together. Next, I glued on the Primas with SU!'s Crystal Effects-my favorite all-purpose glue. Then I put a dab of Crystal Stickles in the center of each flower and left it to dry for a few hours. I have learned to be very patient with Stickles, sometimes I think loose glitter is actually easier when you consider how long Stickles takes to dry! When I came back, I folded the box and fixed with CC&M's Killer Red Tape, and made the lid. Then I spent an embarrassing amount of time fiddling with the ribbon and making the bow out of Flourishes' fabulous brown satin ribbon, which I also attached with the redline tape.

I am addicted to mini albums! Yep, I need to join (or start) a support group. I can't stop making them! I absolutely LOVE ordering them from Creative Cuts & More and being able to get exactly what I want. Here is a 6x6 Mini Album set in chipboard and a 6x6 Mini Album Cover in acetate.

I LOVE using acetate covers and layering that front page, partly on the cover, and partly on the first page.

Wouldn't this mini album make a great Christmas gift to a new mom or to your childrens grandparents?
Papers are either Crate Paper or BoBunny. Embellies are from Doodlebug, Making Memories, K&Company, and some unknown brands from my stash!
Don't forget about our blog hops coming up! Caardvarks blog hop on Nov. 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Then our recipe blog hop on Nov. 9th and 10th!

From our Guest Designers

If you missed the OCTOBER BLOG HOP winner - scroll down two posts!

Well it's October, time to start thinking about Christmas! "What?" you say...Oh yes Christmas, if you are going to make something. And you are going to make something aren't you? I mean really who doesn't love a present from someone who cared enough to make something special just for them? Well we all get pretty busy around the holidays and I am no exception! As a matter of fact I have LOTS on my plate! (hmmm...that reminds of another layout I need to make.)But I digress...

Christmas beauties! I love when you give someone something and they say "Wow you made this?"(with exclamation!) You know whats nice about these? All you have to do is fold and decorate!!! No cutting or figuring out sizes, just the fun part- decorating! How could I resist these cute little die cuts from Creative Cuts and More! Inexpensive too- 75cents! Can't beat that! Here are some close ups...

A little take out box. I embossed it with my Cuttlebug, added some scraps, ribbon, flowers and a butterfly(broken piece of my daughters barrette.)

I embossed and inked this darling purse die cut. I am going to put a mini book in there. The flower was clear acrylic (also from Creative Cuts and More), I used alcohol inks to color it and glossy accents to make dew drops. I also used the alcohol inks on the rhinestones and pearls (Kaiser) to make them match. I used gold Stickles. The ribbon and metal piece were scraps I've had around.

How fun is this? This is a little tin and it comes with a mini accordion album but I cut it up to make these little cards! I thought it would make a cute gift set that you could throw in your purse- you know when you need a little card real quick...you can just pull one of these out of your purse. I also embossed a piece of packaging to cover the decorated tin. (I don't know about you but my purse gets messy!)

Here's what it looks like when you open the package.

The cards...

And one last look! I don't know about you but I love pretty things and I would be excited to receive something so cute! There are tons of different bags, purses die cuts to choose from. Use your imagination!

Rita Barakat

http://letsembellish.blogspot.com

OK - we were so blessed with such YUMMY Eye Candy from Rita, so here is some more delicious treasures from Tifany!

This little book is small enough to fit in your purse, but can easily hold all the lists to help you manage your gift shopping. And after you are done shopping, you can add a few album pages and turn it into a great holiday mini-album!

The velvet paper from Creative Cuts & More is a must for any of your Christmas projects...it is so soft and beautiful. It is also super easy to cut! The back of the paper has a surface that is very easy to trace onto to make your cutting easy

I love all the options for each of the great die cuts...you can get them in foam, acetate, many different papers and cardstocks, felt, polyshrink, different weights of chipboard, velvet, vellum...and even Tacky Tape! For the buckle I used a light weight chipboard cut and topped it with a metallic cardstock cut. The chipboard adds a nice depth to the buckle and the metallic cardstock was so easy to cover the chipboard with since it was already cut to the same shape.
{All the links to the supplies for this project from Creative Cuts & More are listed below.}

1 x Buckle #01 Set: Chipboard - Medium Weight
1 x Buckle #01 Set: Galvanized Silver
2 x 4"x4" Mini Album Cover: Black Chipboard - Heavy Weight {and 4"x4" Mini Album Pages, optional}
1 x Tomato Velvet Paper
1 x Alpine Velvet Paper

Antique Label

Creative Cuts and More!

This was my very first project as a design team member for Creative Cuts and More. I posted it on my blog on February 26, 2008. CC&M is a die cut company. You go to the site, and choose from tons of dies, then decide what material you want it cut from. They also do custom cutting. You can send them your paper, and they will cut it for you. They carry LOTS of Bazzill, and these beautiful Stardream Metallics CS, like I used here. This is a DT sketch challenge card. I asked them to cut the lovely antique label in Aquamarine Stardream. I LOVE this label, and think I'm going to have it cut in about a million different colors! The flower was originally Coral, but I changed my mind about the color, so I dipped it into my VM pad and embossed it in silver-so no worry, no waste!

Stuff:
Stamps: Flourishes, Cake Decorating 101
Paper: ALL from CC&M, Aquamarine, Rose Quartz & Onyx Stardream
Ink: VM
Goodies: SU! detail silver EP, bling, lace, pop dots

Snowflake Sleigh

Here's another Christmas project for you today. :-) I used the Sleigh from Creative Cuts and More and stamped snowflakes all over it with a white craft ink. After the white ink dried, I dotted some of the snowflakes with some stickles glitter glue, and set it aside to dry. It was a snap to assemble this sleigh using the Killer Red Tacky Tape available from Creative Cuts and More. The hard part is deciding what to fill the sleigh with. I filled this one with some silver wrapped Hershey's Nuggets - mmmmmmmm. :-)

These would make great snack holders when you host Christmas in your home. Stamp and assemble four or five of these sleighs, fill them with little snacks or candies, and place these around your home. What guest wouldn't love to find a sleigh full of yummy snacks??

Distressed Santa box

Are you ready for Christmas yet? Here's an idea for a vintage Santa box for packaging up your gifts with. I used the Gable Box - Tall in a dark chocolate color and assembled it with the great Killer Red Tacky Tape.

I found this Santa stamp that I've had for years hiding in my studio. It was the perfect size for this box, so I inked it up with a dark brown ink, and then colored in just the face with a copic marker. The edges were sponged with more of the same dark brown ink, and then I used a distressing tool to rough up the edges of both the image and the white cardstock layer behind it.

This box needed just a little something more with a touch of color, so I used some holly leaves and some red dew drops in the corner on Santa's hat. This box will be a lovely way to present a gift to someone for Christmas this year. :-)

Monday Inspiration

Have you tried your hand at a window card yet?

I loved picking out 'wallpaper' for the outside of the card to make it look like you were looking out your country kitchen window. The 'siding' is made of shimmery paper I picked up years ago at a specialty scrapbook store. I was happy I waited for the perfect project. I think it's so cool. I rubbed ink along the edges of the 'siding' to make it stand out. And the stamping was fun too. I love coloring stamps in these days.... just ink and an Aqua Painter brush! I cut out a few of the elements to help give the card more character!

See you next week. Same place, same time!
Be sure to come by everyday for more inspiration and diecut projects!

Witches & Spiders Oh My!

October is my favorite month. Our front porch was Spooked Out before October even arrived!
Spiders are crawling out from the siding and are creeping along the sidewalk to the door. A creepy black cat guards the front as well as a couple of blood thirsty black crows. Cob webs have been stretched across every inch of the porch. All over the beautiful fall decorations, the old wooden rocking chairs and even the witches broom that hangs on the door.

But the inside of our house is sweet and calming. Just this fun little banner adorns the entry way. The challenge was simply to use this witch and spider die cuts. I couldn't resist making an October banner to showcase these fun die cuts from Creative Cuts & More.

This week Creative Cuts & More is sponsoring the Belli Challenge #76. Hop on over to play along!

Join us on Friday, right here at Diecut Diva, for our October Blog Hop!!

Fall Season = Caramel Apples

Hello Fall, hello Autumn! I just love seeing the leaves fall this time of year and having to curl up in a blanket to keep warm. Fall! Doesn't it jump start the holiday season and inspire you to bake goodies for your friends and co-workers? Well, here's an idea just for you...

I couldn't wait to take a stab at this ACETATE Cake Slice Box Set .
I filled them with Caramel Apple supplies:
Heath bars, white chocolate and caramel.
It makes enough for 4 people to take home
3 boxes each. Those three boxes will make 2 or 3
'white chocolate dipped & rolled
in Heath crumbs' caramel apples.

You could fill them with a cookie mix or
soup mix
, the possibilities are endless!

Umm, umm good!!!

A little ribbon, a little brad and a little Killer Red Tacky Tape make the cake!
Creative Cuts & More has a HUGE assortment
of pre-cut boxes, shapes, cards, albums and much, much more.

Be sure to come stop by on Friday for our FALL Blog Hop!

Happy crafting!

FALL KIT CARDS

Before I get started with this post, I want to share something EXCITING Creative Cuts and More is participating in. Stay tuned and be on the look out!

Happy Fall!! It is time for the leaves to change color, for Bobbing for apples, carving pumpkins and maybe even a Carmel apple. Fall is my favorite time of year! I love the crisp cool air, the crunching of leaves under foot and here in Wisconsin where I live, the beauty of all of the fall colors! Below is a picture of the tree that stands in front of my house taken last year. This year we have road contruction, so the scene is not quite as pretty. :) I just have to drive a few blocks to enjoy more of the beautiful colors.

Have you gotten your FALL KIT yet? This kit is packed with so many beautiful cards and hours of FUN when you create! I have really enjoyed creating these cards. The beauty of these kits is you can create simple cards or even get a little bit fancier with them if you choose. You will have everything you need to make 12 beautiful cards. The only thing you will need to add is adhesive and if you wish a stamp. The kit is worth over $34 but we are offering it for $26.99.

Listed below are the details for the cards I created...

Everything is included for this card except 2 things...

Stamp Set: Lovely as a Tree from Stampin' Up! and an extra cream sheet - you can purchase this layer from Creative Cuts and More... the color is Bazzil Bling Cardstock called String of Pearls. On the top card, I used a pencil and traced it making a mat. I also used a Scalloped edge punch for the border around the buckles.

This next card I created is the Side opening Tag Card with Oak Leaf - Small in double-sided Tacky Tape, so I was able to sprinkle som green glitter on it to get this shimmery leaf! It looks pretty shimmery in real life!

Here are some more details on this card:
Card Kit Pieces: 1 Tag Shaped Card (side opening) in Bazzill Walnut Canvas Cardstock & Tag in Bazzill Almond Cream Smoothies Cardstock (CC&M exclusive), 1 Oak Leaf - Small in double-sided Tacky Tape
Stamps: Autumn Blessings available at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps
Black layers not included in the kit

Here are the details for my last share for the day!
Stamps: Baked With Love by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps
(Words are a Rub On included in the Fall Kit)
Cardstock: K&Company , included in the Fall Kit available at Creative Cuts and More
Accessories: Pencil, Paper Snips, Twill is not included in the kit, the other ribbon is, Copics, Black Marker, & Stickles. Velvet flower die cut and button is included in the kit.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope these projects have inspired you!

Catch Of My Life

When I received the Creel Box, I instantly wanted to do something fun for my husband. I pulled out one of my favorite lines (Mr. Campy from Cosmo Cricket) and started decorating the box. The fishing pole and fish came from a paper scrap I had. This is what I ended up with:
What is a fishing box without fish? I added some of my husband's favorite candy, Swedish Fish, and delivered it to my husband at his office!

I think this makes such a great gift for any man in your life!

Vintage Cupcake Box

I'm in love with the Cupcake Box die. Although it is the perfect size for a cupcake, it's also a great container size for all sorts of trinkets and ephemera. In fact, my very first thought with the Cupcake Box was that it would make the PERFECT gift box for a rolled-up necktie. So I asked my husband for a tie I could use as a prop to photograph with the box and he said that he doesn't have one!

So I went ahead and decorated the box with a more neutral collage of postage and mail themes -- and now instead of a tie box gift, it'll be on Grandma's writing desk holding her postage stamps and return address labels. Isn't it funny how projects evolve?

Supply List:
Stamps: Purple Onion Designs, Innovative Stamp Creations and Stamp Francisco
Paper: Almond Cream (Bazzill Smoothies)
Inks: Vintage Sepia VersaFine (Tsukineko); Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink (ClearSnap)
Accessories: Cupcake Box Die, Clear Acetate Sheet & Killer Red Tacky Tape (Creative Cuts & More); Authentic antique letter & postage stamps; Buttons (various)

Clearly Easy Box

My husband's favorite day of the whole year is Thanksgiving. He primps the house for days before and cooks his heart out. He even has an apron embroidered with a turkey especially for the occasion. There's so much fuss and preparation going into a big event like that, I don't have the desire or the time to create elaborate little party favors. I want something adorable, quick, and easy.

CC&M offers a total of twenty-two different boxes cut from acetate, and I chose to show you the Butterfly Box. It was so easy to create! The simple steps:
  • Run the flat Butterfly Box through the BigShot machine with the D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
  • Fold box and adhere the bottom and side with the exceptionally strong Killer Red Tacky Tape
  • Fill with fall-colored candies
  • Interlock top to secure

It would be a snap to make a bunch of these for a wedding, party favors, little Valentine's Day goodies for the kids to give away at school, a token holiday gift for all those acquaintances at work or around the neighborhood, etc.

Be sure to check back here on Monday (9/14) for our Fall-themed September Blog Hop. You'll be pleasantly surprised by all the inspiration the team has in store for you!

Doodlebug Baby Projects

I'm a big fan of the cute, whimsical designs from Doodlebug... and I love that everything coordinates.

TIP: Did you know that Bazzill Criss Cross textured cardstock is dyed to match Doodlebug products? Takes away all the guesswork and makes coordinating a snap!

My card uses several of the dies from CC&M -- 5-1/4" - Square Window Card #01 - Border Windows, Heart #02 - Large with Layer, and Photo Corner #02 Set, all cut from the Criss Cross textured cardstock -- plus Doodlebug stickers, gemstones, and patterned paper.

The box was created from several CC&M dies also: Tall Gable Box, Heart #02 - Large with Layer, and Photo Corner #02 Set, all cut from the Criss Cross textured cardstock -- along with Doodlebug stickers, gemstones, and patterned paper.

I made two enhancements to the flat cardstock stickers (hippo & turtle) that were used on the projects. I used the EK Success Powder Tool to neutralize the adhesive. This allowed me to put pop-dots on the stickers so they'd have a little dimension. I added more interest to them by adding the self-adhesive jewels. Now they really pop!

Mini Album Tin Kit

Creative Cuts & More has these round and rectangular MINI ALBUM & TIN KITS.
I made mine into a super cute banner, unfortunately, the ribbons made it too bulky so I can't fit it back into the tin (not shown here). That just means I can make something else for the tin....yeay!

Imagine these at your Halloween shindig
adorning your table filled with devilish goodies
for your guests to take home.

Or as a fun craft for you and your kiddos

For more pics and details go HERE.

Diva Dresses

These dresses are from one of the newer dies from Creative Cuts & More, the Dress Box die. It's so easy, and very versatile!

My wedding dress was very easy to make. It was cut from Bazzill Smoothies Coconut Swirl. The only embellishments used on the project are Prima Marketing's new Say it in Studs self-adhesive embellishments. The studs were arranged in an ornate frame pattern. I used my sharp Tonic snips to cut only certain parts of the frame to create the bodice, waist, and hem adornments.

Because these studs are self-adhesive, they were very easy to adhere. They're nice quality, too, and the segments held together very nicely.

My other sample was also very easy to put together. This next dress is cut from BasicGrey patterned cardstock from the Two Scoops collection and tied with a thin pink grosgrain ribbon. I made this to show that this die is not just for weddings!

Dresses cut from other patterns and other colors could be used for all sorts of occasions:
  • Pretty floral dresses for Mother's Day, Tea Parties, Bridal Showers
  • Matching dresses for Bridesmaid gifts
  • Pastels for pretty Easter Dresses
  • Dresses in school colors for graduations
  • Dresses in sorority colors for Bid Day, Initiations and other special occasions
  • Red or purple dresses for Red Hat events
  • White dresses for Confirmations, Baptisms, First Communion, etc.
  • Pink and/or sparkly dresses for "Princess" party favors
  • Black, scary dresses for witches at Halloween
  • A whole variety of dresses for favors at an Oscar party or a Mardi Gras/Costume party
  • Pretty dresses for prom or homecoming
  • Gold or silver dresses for 25th or 50th Anniversary parties
The possibilities with this dress are endless! Creative Cuts & More carries a few patterned papers. However, you can also have CC&M cut papers that you send in -- and they cut it for a reasonable cutting fee. You can visit the Contact Us page to inquire via e-mail or by phone.

Shaped paper with a twist!

***Guest DT call extended until July 6! Scroll down for details!***

I'm gonna let you in on a little secret, My favorite die cut at Creative Cuts and More is the 11 1/2 mini scallop circle. I know there are fancier boxes and cards on the website but I like this one best! Why you ask? Because there is nothing better for braking you out of a scrapbooking slump than changing the shape of the page. But this die cut isn't just for scrapbooking. Check out the two cards I made with half a sheet of the shaped paper. An that isn't the end of it either. I have several other projects to share with you this month using this die, when I'm done you're gonna want one in every color...come to think of it so do I!

Don't ya just love whimsy?

I made this little whimsical bag with the XL Tuck and Close Bag from Creative Cuts and More. It was a blast to make, I stamped a fairy (About Art Accents) on watercolor paper and colored it with Prismacolor pencils and blended it with goo gone then stamped a few butterflies on acetate, colored them with Bic Mark Its and glued them on after adding lots of ribbon. I finished it off with a few squirts of shimmer spray. A perfect bag for a lovely gift for a whimsical friend.

Father's Day Box Idea

Our wonderful guest designer, Dawn has created this fun Father's cake box using our Creative Cuts and More "Cupcake Box".

Dawn wanted to make a box to hold a tie, the typical Father's Day gift. Dawn made some diamonds for the sides and paper pierced around them and just added some ribbon along the top of the box. She also used the insert on the bottom of the box so the tie would sit higher. This box would also work great for a pair of dress socks.

Thanks Dawn for inspiring us!

Fun with window cards!

I think next to 3-D die cut boxes my favorite CC&M product is window cards, I love the surprise peeking through a window. (This card is known as the 5-1/4" Square Scallop Card Heart Window Vertical.) On this card I printed a daffodil digital stamp on vellum and embossed it speedy quick then colored it with my trusty Bic Mark-it markers (sharpies or copics would work too) then sewed it behind the window opening.

It may seem tricky to machine stitch around a heart shape but here is a crafty trick: Start at the bottom point of the heart and sew up to where it starts to curve then instead of using the foot pedal on your machine use the turning wheel on the right hand side of your sewing machine to go one stitch at a time until you get over the "humps" then use the pedal as you stitch down the other strait side. I'm no seamstress but I love the look I get when I stitch on a card.

Here is another tip: If you don't have the right color "bling" for your card you can alter clear rhinestones just color them with your solvent based markers such as Bic Mark its, Copics or sharpies. I use a small glue dot to stick the rhinestone down then color right over it with the marker, works like a charm!

Fun Teacher Gift

Design Team member Diane Koerner created this adorable teacher's gift.

The French Fry Box was cut from Bazzill Criss Cross Buttercream Cardstock. She filled it with magnets and put a strip of magnet inside the box.

She colored the pencil magnets with Prismacolor pencils. Markers were used to color the flowers, apple etc. The flowers were decorated with Stickles Glitter Glue in Yellow.

Stamp Credits: the pencil and flower are from Stamps by Judith – The saying an apple lasts is by Stampassions.

Hula Girl

When I saw the little dress box my mind went to Hula Girl , I think I need a vacation!!! I really like how she turned out though. I had the die cut in Almond Creme smooth cardstock to give her a little bit of tan. The skirt was made using a table skirt we had used for a Hawaiian Birthday Party. The lei was made using a small paper punch and punching little circles out of silk flowers then stringing them on a needle and thread. A kaiser rhinestone for a belly button ring and a little bikini top and she's done!

Designed by Jennifer Johnson Creative Cuts and More Designer.
Die Cut used: Dress Box
Rhinestones: I used Kaiser but these would work perfectly: Hyacinth Rhinestones
