Hi, Lisa here today! Christmas Cardinal

Hi, Lisa here today and I have a wonderful Holiday card  to share with you!  I used the Gift Card Holder A7 Card - Vertical as my base card, adding layers and stamped imaged from Heartfelt Creations.  The above snippet shows the added dimension of the layered images as well as the shimmer from the Glimmer Mist.

Just Nuts about You

Hi Lisa here today and I have a fun Fall Themed card using the Oval Window A2 Frame with Mat Card Set.  The base card and oval window are both cut from Chocolately Chip, the Mat from White card stock.

All stamps are from Kitchen Sink Stamps, stamped directly onto the White panel.  The Oval was embossed with a Texture Fades Folder than highlighted with ink.  The leaves and additional acorn are stamped on scrap white, cut out and added to the oval frame.

Just for Dad

Hi, Lisa here today, and my project is for the men in your life! I used the Creel Box Die Cut in Chocolatey Chip, for a cute Gift Card Holder. This box is a snap to assemble, decorate your panels, then add some Killer Red Tacky Tape and adhere your end together, easy peasy!

Instead of decorating the box with pattern paper, I stamped my image on Matte Card stock, then used the Pulled Glimmers Technique from the current TJNL to add color to the background. I went back and added additional colors with an H20 Brush and Distress Inks. Then cut my panel to fit the front of the Die Cut.

Birthday Boy

Hi, Lisa here, today I'm sharing a project made with items from the new Boy Birthday Kit from Creative Cuts and More.  I combined the Crescent Gate Fold Die Cut with the Tag Pocket Die from this kit for a cute Birthday Gift Card Holder.  All other elements used are also included in the kit, with the exception of the gift card of course!

They Say it's Your Birthday!

Hi, Lisa here!  Today I have a quick CAS birthday card to share with you using the Balloon #01 Set from Creative Cuts and More.  I only used the large balloons, saving the smaller ones for another project.  I embossed the die cut balloons using the Big Shot and Stars Cuttlebug Folder, sponged the edges and embossed area, then randomly added them to Orange base card.  Trim off the areas extending past your card stock panel, sponge the edges, add a sentiment.  Gotta love those 5 minute or less cards!

Wedding Favors

Hi, Lisa here and today I have some cute Wedding Favors to share with you.  With the Wedding season quickly approaching, the Tuxedo and Dress Box die cut boxes make creating Wedding/Shower favors a breeze!

I embossed the White Dress Box with the Cuttlebug Stylized Flowers Folder, tied on a pretty Pink Satin Ribbon and added a Felt Flower and a Basic Grey Half Pearl.  To finish the Tuxedo Box, I simply added some Basic Grey Black Half Pearls and a Pink Felt Flower with a Basic Grey Half Pearl.  Creating these beautiful favors only takes a few mintues!

Window Cards

Hi, Lisa here, and I have a really quick project to share with you today using the Window Card Die Cuts from Creative Cuts and More.  For this card I used the Window Die Cuts with a Mat.  The base card is Bazzill White Canvas, the mat layer is Bazzill Lava Canvas. 

I stamped the flower image from the Artistic Outpost Lovely Day plate in Black Archival right through the opening of the window.  Let the ink dry, then colored the image using an H20 Brush and Rose Quartz and Green Olive paints from Creative Inspirations.  The sentiment was stamped in Black Archival on the Mat, then adhered to the base card.

I love the window cards, because not only does the recipient get to enjoy the image on the outside of the card, it's on the inside too!

Peek-a-View Jelly Bean Box

Hi, Lisa here and I've got a cute Peek-a-View Box to share with you today!  Who wouldn't want to recieve a cute box filled with goodies!  I used the Peek-a-View Box Die Cut in Cherry Splash Bazzill Smoothies for my project.  I covered the Cherry Spash with some Basic Grey Sugar Rush Pattern Paper. I used  Killer Red Tacky Tape to close the box top/bottom and acetate, filled it with some Mike & Ike Jelly Beans, and tied on a beautiful Red Satin Bow.  Just add a tag, and your all set!

Can't you just picture these boxes filled with all sorts of things for Easter.  Wouldn't they be cute decorated with some Map Scrap Paper and filled with Matchbox Cars for little boys, or  decorated with frilly papers and filled with trinkets for little girls.

These boxes are really quick to assemble and would look wonderful filled with anything!

Got Cupcakes?

Hi, it's Lisa and I created this cute Cupcake Box to share with you today! Who wouldn't want to receive a beautiful cupcake in a fancy box!  I used the Cupcake Box Set from Creative Cuts in More for today's project.  The box base is cut from Bazzil Smoothies Chocolate Cream, the the lid from Bazzil Smoothies Watermelon Sensation.  The pink panels are cut from a piece of Watermelon Sensations Smoothies to add under the layer of Basic Grey Bittersweet Pattern Paper to cover my sides.  I used the Heart from Kitchen Sink Stamps Year Of Thanks II stamped in Pixie Pink to add some decoration to the lid.  The box was tied with Chocoalte Satin Ribbon, I used the Bow Easy to finish of the Bow.

Love You Much

Hi, it's Lisa, and I've got a quick and easy project to share with you using Heart die cuts just in time for Valentine's Day.  For my card, I used the new Mono Die Tutorial from the February TJNL and the Heart #02 - Mini die cut  in Bazzil Watermelon Smoothies. The texture on the Hearts is from the CuttleBug Damask folder.  The Hearts are embossed and layered on a Bazzil Watermelon Smoothies panel, then to the Chocolate base card.

The image is Stampin' Up!'s Love you Much set.  I inked the image in Markers, stamped on the White card stock, colored the image, than added an adhesive gem to the center of the flower.

Let's Twist!

Hi, Lisa here, and today I have a wonderful A2 Twist Card to share with you. I love the look of the Twist Card (aka Swing Cards), but never liked cutting them. Creative Cuts and More makes it super easy with their Exclusive A2 Twist Card. For my card, I had the base cut from Bazzill Smoothies Chocolate Cream, I added a layer of Bazzill Smoothies Watermelon Sensation on the Twist panel, and stamped my White panel.

To decorate my White panel, I stamped the sentiment from Kitchen Sink Stamps 3 Step Hibiscus in Memento Rich Cocoa. Then using Eclipse Tape I stamped and masked the flowers - all stamps Kitchen Sink Stamps (see below) in various Memento Inks, adding some leaves as needed. The Butterfly is stamped directly on the panel, then again on scrap paper, cutting off the antenna and popping it up over the stamped image. I sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip, then adhered to the Twist card.

For the back, I stamped the sentiment from Kitchen Sink Stamps 3 Step Daisy in Memento Rich Cocoa, then added a larger butterfly, stamped direclty on the panel, then stamped again cut out and popped on dimensionals.

To finish the card, I lightly misted both sides with Pearl Glimmer Mist. When folded flat, these cards fit nicely in regular Invitation sized envelopes.

Standing Pop Up Die Cut - Vintage Valentine

Hi, Lisa here, and I'm excited to be sharing my creations using Creative Cuts and More's wonderful die cuts with you! Today I have a cute Valentine created with the CC&M's exclusive Standing Pop-Up Card. These dies make cute and quick cards!

Just in case you haven't used these before, here's a quick tutorial on how to assemble the die cut pieces

After creasing, stamp images on top panel as shown

Adhere Killer Red Tacky Tape to edges as shown

After stamping your tag, slide it through the opening. Be sure to center and align with the bottom, then adhere to Killer Red Tacky Tape.

Secure the other side

Embellish front as desired. The best thing about these, they fold flat for mailing.

Santa's Sleigh

To create Santa's Sleigh, I used the Sleigh Die Cut from Creative Cuts & More, then simply traced it onto a piece of Cosmo Cricket Paper, cut out and adhered the pattern paper to the die cut.

For my image, I stamped the Vintage Santa from the Artistic Outpost Snowy Woods Plate on Caramel card stock, then used the Sepia Technique to add color. To color his beard, I painted on Rock Candy Stickles with an old H20 Brush, then dabbed on some White Pastels, layered onto a Black Panel cut with Spellbinders Circle Dies, then onto my Sleigh.


The Sleigh holds Pretzel Bark in a Cello Bag, tied with Rope.

Here's the recipe

Pretzel Bark

1 cup chopped pretzels

1/3 cup chopped toasted PLANTERS Pecans
1-1/2 pkg. (8 squares each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted

STIR pretzels and nuts into chocolate; spread onto waxed paper-covered baking sheet.

REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm. Break into pieces
