Winter Deer

Happy Saturday, everyone! It's Holly posting today. Aren't these just the most adorable deer? This stamp is made by Stampavie, and I just had to have it as soon as I saw it.

I started with a die cut card from Creative Cuts and More. This is the Filigree Square Window Square Card cut from Wildberry Pie Bazzill Smoothies cardstock. I stamped the entire front with a snowflake background stamp and set this aside to dry. The deer are colored with Copic markers and I used a glitter pen on the "jingle bells" as well as the snow drifts.

I needed a sentiment so I kept this simple by just stamping the sentiment, cutting it out with an oval die, and then using the Wisped Frames technique (from Technique Junkies) around the sentiment. Sweet and simple!

Stamps: Dearest Deer from Stampavie, Stocking Prints (PTI), Snowflakes (Impression Obsession), Inside & Out - Holiday (PTI - for sentiment inside the card)
Ink: Fresh Snow, Brocade Blue, Rich Cocoa Memento
Other: Copics, sponge, oval nestability die, Sakura glitter pen
Die Cut card: Filigree Square Window Square Card cut from Wildberry Pie cardstock

Waterfall of Greetings!

Hi, Dawn Lusk here, sharing this Waterfall Card
from
Creative Cuts & More.

Here is the inside, using the Waterfall Card Mechanism with Squares, (Bazzill Super Smooth white, Blackberry Swirl, Pear Crush)
Before assembling, I embossed the edges with Cuttlebug's With Love embossing border and the center pull tab with Polka Dots, then adhered it to my card with White Tear-able Tape

Everything comes cut and pre-scored so it takes all the guess work out! Simply stamp your desired images on the smaller 1.75x1.75 squares, mount on the 2x2 squares and place on the center pull.

There is a tutorial here.

What a fun surprise someone will get when they open this card!

Thanks for stopping!

We are excited to introduce you to our January Guest Designer, Robin Parker!

We are so lucky to have Robin this month!  Her work is AMAZING!  Here is a little about her in her own words.  "I am a stay at home mom and I have been enjoying papercrafting for just over a year now! I love the cutesy and am trying to learn how to do "grown-up" cards, as my sister calls them. I'm excited to be a part of this talented group of ladies and am looking forward to digging through my embellishments in the weeks to come. "Robin's Creative Nest" would not exist if it weren't for my fabulous sister, Darsie Bruno, who has purchased all of my supplies and taught me everything I know about this craft. I am also excited to be working alongside her, as she encourages me in all of my creative endeavors! "

How cute is this Pop Up card?  I love it!  To see all of the details about it check it out HERE!
Be sure to come back on Wednesday the 19th!  Robin is joining us for our Valentines Day themed Blog Hop!  I can't wait to see what she makes!

Valentine Sweetie

It is almost Valentines Day !
Today I have another quick card I put together using supplies from Creative Cuts And More.

Heart Window Square Scallop Card - Horizontal. is what I started with here.I used some Micro Beads in red to outline the frame heart and also the scallop.

I added some beautiful lace from Pizzazz Aplenty and also some red gems. The swirl is from Prima

In the inside I embossed with a heart swirl embossing folder.

This was one of the quickest cards I have made.
I started with the Heart Window Square Scallop Card - Horizontal.
Added a  Heart to Heart - Petite,
that I had made in tacky tape and embossed with silver embossing powder.
I also used a Scallop Oval Frame #01 - Large
I added some fun polka dotted ribbon I made a layered bow with and a small flower to adorn.
I also used a small scrap of embossed paper to cover the heart opening on this red card...loved the detail.

Hope everyone is getting ready for this Valentine- stock up on lots of supplies to make that  gift for someone very special.

3 More Months of the Calendar Kit!

Hi Everyone!  It takes a lot of posts to get through fourteen months!  The Calendar Kit is AWESOME!  I love that it is 14 months long but what I love even more is you can begin it with any month you want.  You can take your time making all 14 layouts.  Then when you are finished you can start them in March or any month you want.  Add the numbers and give it away or hang it on the wall!

Here is October, November and December!

I embellished everything with ink, Stickles and {ippity} stamps.  But if you like clean and simple as you can see you don't need to add anything!

Best Fishes

Happy Monday All!!!

Today I have a fun little fishy card to share with you. I made it with a "Fishbowl Shape Card" from Creative Cuts and More.

The scene was created with stamps from "Fishing for Details" by The Rubber Cafe.

I colored it with Copic Markers. I just love how cool it turned out and it was so easy when I had the cool fishbowl card to start out with!

I hope you enjoyed my fun card today and that you have a wonderful Monday!

Blue Snowman

Isn't that just adorable? I started with this awesome Oval Window A2 Frame with Mat & Card Set from Creative Cuts and More. I stamped the snowflakes with white ink all over the dark blue frame and set that aside. While the snowflakes were drying, I stamped the snowman on the white mat and colored him with Copic markers. To accent the snowy areas, I used a glue pen and adhered some Dazzling Diamonds glitter. All I had to do after that was adhere the white mat to the dark blue card base, and then adhere the dark blue frame (with the snowflakes stamped on it) over the white mat.

Die Cut: Oval Window A2 Frame with Mat & Card Set
-- card & frame - Bazzill Canvas Typhoon cardstock
-- mat - white cardstock
Stamps: Warm Winter Wishes from Flourishes
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, Fresh Snow (PTI)
Other: copic markers, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter

Vintagie Valentines

Hi all!

Becky here to share some Valentine’s Day ideas with you!
I really only needed to do one card, but I got a little carried away! So, you get three ideas from me today!!

The first project I wanted to share is the adorable Milk Carton! I know, my last project was with the Milk Carton too, but I just adore it!!

This one’s pretty simple – I cut out some vintage Valentine images & adhered them to the sides of the white Milk Carton die from Creative Cuts & More! I plan to fill it with M&M’s for my daughter to give to her teachers next month!

Next, I used the Four Pane Window Scalloped Card to create another fun vintage Valentine,

After cutting out the vintage images of the kids, I stamped a Love definition onto a Petite Vintage Label; inked all the edges & adhered them to the front.

Inside, I used a Small Square Filagree label cut in pink velvet to “frame” the girl behind the window. I stamped a few little hearts in the corner with versafine ink.

Last, I did a rather funky card with the Filagree Rectangle Scallop Card & this fun Palmistry stamp by Tim Holtz…

After stamping the palm & cutting it out, I used another stamp by Unity (Ippity) Stamp Co. for the sentiment on another great Antique Label.

That’s it for me today!

Don’t forget to come back on the 19th for our monthly hop for even MORE Valentine’s Day ideas from our team of talented designers!!

More Calendar pages!

Hi Everyone!  It's Noelle today posting more calendar pages!  Creative Cut's new Calendar Kit has 14 months!  So there will still be 2 more posts after this!  Here are April, May and June.

I just added some Stickles and some ippity stamps!  It is really easy and fun to add some embellishments to each page.  These kits make great gifts!  Or you can keep it for yourself and hang it on your kitchen wall like I did.   :)
