Hi everyone!
Becky here today!
As I was browsing through all the amazing dies over at Creative Cuts & More, I came across this adorable crayon box & I immediately thought, "that would make a cute little box to house a tiny album (what the Scrap-a-Teeny Girls are known for!) of school pictures!!" So, that is just what I did!!
I ordered the crayon box in kraft cardstock, covered the front, back & lid with some fun K&Co papers, tags & stickers from their Kid Kazoo line - a fun vintage line all about kids from the 40's & 50's! Then I used the Killer Red Tacky Tape to assemble the box, inked the sides & edges with Barn Red ink.
When I saw the measurements of the box were 2.75x3.75 I knew that the Rectangle Filigree Label would be the perfect size to fit inside the crayon box for the tiny album at 2.75 x 3.25!
So I ordered 6 in kraft cardstock, 2 in lightweight chipboard & 2 in acetate!
I used the acetate labels on the front & back over the chipboard label that I covered in a piece of orange cardstock on the outside & a piece of the K&Co paper for the inside covers. Also on the front cover, the little "kiddo" star is on the outside of the acetate, but the paper photo turn is under the acetate.
I kept it very simple on the inside by just inking the edges of each of the kraft-colored labels with colors that matched the crayon box papers & did simple embellishments to label each year's page.
My thoughts with the tiny album was a page for each year in grade school, so there are 7 pages total just waiting for those great school pix!!

Lastly, I punched a hole in the top of the labels & attached a ring to bind the book together. It fits very neatly into the little crayon box! I just love it & hope that you did too!
