Pop-Up Christmas

Hi, Dawn Lusk here, sharing this Pop-Up Christmas card.
It's not too early to start you know!

I used the Pop-Up A2 Insert with Card from Creative Cuts and More. The insert is Neenah Smooth Cream, the outside is Bazzill Canvas Wisteria. Having the pre-cut and scored cards makes designing a breeze! All I did was stamp my sentiment, add a little greenery and some color, and using White Tear-able Tape, attached it to the pop-up!

Here's the front

This is a new set being released tomorrow from Our Daily Bread designs.

Thanks for stopping!

New York State of Mind - A Mini-Album

Hi everyone!
Becky here today & I have a great little album that my sister made (Kim L.) out of the Tag Album (she ordered several loose pages in Heavy Chipboard & Acetate) dies from Creative Cuts & More!
She was lucky enough to go to New York for her 20th Anniversary this year & this is just a tiny taste of the pictures she took there! (She will have to do many more mini's to showcase her fabulous trip!!) So, here we go...

The acetate cover features a reproduction of a vintage postcard along with a FABULOUS Statue of Liberty die from CC&M (up on the site soon!)!
On the back of the acetate cover, Page 2 has a lovely Apple cut in red velvet from CC&M!
Page 3, the camera actually lifts up (too hard to photograph here) to reveal their itinerary & some pictures, a map & guide book write-up of Times Square all layered on a heavy chipboard tag & adhered to the back of an A7 Apple Window card!! (see the next pict!)
See, here's the A7 Card from the front. It's connected only from one end so that it opens like a card, but also flips up with the rest of the album. Inside the card looks like this:
Here's another acetate page showcasing the famous Broadway St. with a Comedy Mask die from CC&M (up on the site soon!). Here's the flip side:
You can see another Velvet Apple under the Broadway tickets.
Finally, what's a visit to NY without seeing the Statue of Liberty?!! Here she attached 2 postcards showing the building of the statue with a brad to a heavy chipboard tag so that the cards swing up to show...
A picture she took of the statue popped in front of part of a Sky Scraper die (the whole die is much longer & up on the site soon!).

That's it for us today!
Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget to stop by the Creative Cuts & More store for all your summer vacation die & album needs!!

Our Guest Patti Is Sharing Some More Projects

Hi Everyone!
Today I have some wonderful projects to share from our Guest Designer this month,Patti Gilliam from Cherish Each Precious Day.
You are going to love these!
Please, let us show her know how much we enjoy having her as our Guest.
Patti will be our Guest  Designer  for October if we let her know how much we love having her.

Here is her posting in her own words

I chose to use the Oval Window Box with the Acetate Rectangle, and the Small Oak Leaf.  Oh my goodness - what an easy box to put together!  I simply scored, assembled the box using CCM's Killer White Tacky Tape, and decorated.  A fall mat stack from last year's DCWV collection was used for the DP, and I tied a knot around the leaf stem with a ribbon scrap.  I used my Creole Spice Kaleidacolor pad for distressing the leaf.  Nuggets were wrapped with DP, placed in the box, and Voila!
I chose one of their Circle window A2 cards that included a mat. I chose an orange card, with a brown mat. I wanted the card to be very visible, so decided on a very clean and simple look. Meet Pumpkin Birdie!
The image and sentiment are from the Pre-Colored set, Pumpkin Birdie, from Doodle Pantry. What fun! I printed the image, cut it out with a circle Nestie, embossed around it, and drew in some faux stitching with the die still on the image. The sentiment was trimmed and matted with scraps sent from Creative Cuts and More, and attached to this fabulous 3-D label from CCM. A few more 'stitches', a handful of teensy pearls later, voila!

You can check out these products from the Creative Cuts and More website.

Beachy Box

Good Morning! Danielle here, with this great box that can be used for many occasions. Today I decorated it in a sea-theme because we put seashells inside as a gift to someone. The gable box was really easy to put together.

Accordian Christmas

Hi! Dawn Lusk here,
sharing this
Accordian Insert with A6 Card from
Creative Cuts and More!

It's definitely not too early to start those Christmas cards, and what better way to speed up the process than with any of the pre-cut and scored cards from CC&M!

I chose the Accordian Card since I wanted to have my ornament hanging freely on the inside. The "accordian" insert is Pear Crush Bazzill Smoothies and the "card" is Perfectly Plum SU Smooth. It quickly goes together with the help of White Tear-able Tape along the edges!

I used Holly Ribbons embossing folder, running it through twice on my Grand Calibur, to get the entire insert. The ornament is a peek at a new set coming from Our Daily Bread designs, Holiday Ornaments.

Here is the front, with Christmas Door, also coming in Oct. from ODBD.

Stop by Creative Cuts and More, Terry has it jam-packed with great products!
There is also a Gallery to help you with ideas.

Thanks for stopping!

Smiles

Hello! Nora Anne posting today, sharing a card I made using my favorite Neenah Smooth cardstock in Cream. Yes, that's right! This started out as cream colored cardstock...I had an A2 card that I had made a mistake on, so I cut it down to use the remainder of the card, and with a little help from my embossing powder, heat gun and distress inks, this is what I came up with.
The base of the card is an A2 card in Java Bazzill Canvas. Finished off with some chocolate chip seam binding. Quick, easy and beautiful!

Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Shopping!!!!

How About An Acetate Design?

You know how sometimes you see a project in your head? Well this one turned out better then I dreamed.
I used an A2 card base from Creative Cuts and More.
The only difference is a had this one cut in Acetate!

I started by putting the card through my Big Shot with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I Stamped a Lablanche stamp on white card stock and colored lightly with Copic markers.
I matted on black and then white card stock again.
The image was centered on the Acetate base with room showing around the edges(would hate to cover up the entire card).
I attached a small sentiment from my stash with a yummy flower and leaves. All it needed was a little orange check ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon to embellish.
One last touch was to use a Krylon gold marker to outline the card base, I really like how it gives a outline to the card design.

Sure hope you pop into Creative Cuts and More and check out the many card bases available-you might even try an acetate product.

Little Trapezoid Box

Hi everyone, it's Taylor here. Today I'm showing it off today on this darling little Trapezoid Box with Layers from Creative Cuts and More.  It's recommended that this box gets put together with 1/8" Killer Red Tacky Tape.
I stamped the background on each of the panels for the box sides, and again on the panel for the top.  Then I added some lovely Red Velvet Scrollwork Border stickers on each panel before gluing them to the box.  Eventually I'll probably tie a big bow around it and add a tag, but I haven't figured out who is getting this fab gift, or what is going in it!

Supplies:
Stamps: Light of Christmas (Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps)
Card Stock: Bazzill Java, Killarney
Ink: Rich Cocoa (Memento)
Accessories: Red Velvet Scrollwork Border stickers (Stampendous); Trapeziod Box Die Cut (Creative Cuts and More)

The 2nd half of my last 8 x 8 album

Hi everyone, it's Noelle posting today!  I almost forgot it was my turn!
In July we did a joint blog hop with Stuck On You Sketches.  The first half of this album can be seen on my personal blog HERE.   I did 2 albums for that hop and didn't get them finished.  I LOVE this 8" x 8" Album & Chipboard Set I ordered extra pages in acetate as well.

My Daughter made the rainbow cloud from the Hello Kitty Cricut cartridge,  the kite is only a quarter so I ordered 3,  I paper pieced it on the other side, just to make it a little different.
The Decorative Label is one of my favorite dies!
This turtle will be coming soon!  Isn't it cute?

This turtle will be available soon as well, the Tag #02 - Small is perfect for journaling!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
