Colorful Animal Cake (MANY PICS)

Grab a cup of tea or coffee, and sit back, and join me for another FUN and COLORFUL design from Creative Cuts and More.

First I started with the XL cake slice boxes in fun and colorful ,Bazzill papers. I made the bottom layer and am keeping it separate in case I need to mail to someone.

Next I made a circus tent to adorn the top layer using the Large Cake slices. This two tier cake can be bought in a one layer set- large or X-large or a two tier box set.
These slices can also be purchased singly in large or X-large
I used some fun animal stickers that were 3d. I tried to share a view from many angles.

I used some checkered ribbon I found at HL to match those yummy Bazzill colors of paper. I even found some scrap papers from CTMH to make the banners- I like how the colors were very similar to the Bazzill papers I used for my cake slices.

Beautiful Display Cake Slices

Oh I am so thrilled to share these slices with you today. I THINK they turned out wonderful.

Creative Cuts and More has some of the nicest die cuts I have worked with. These cake slice box Large and Cake Slice box X- large are stacked together.

I used beautiful Bazzill colors that were so cheerful. My good friend Judy gave me this idea and design with the flowers. Judy actually gave me the plastic flowers to use.

Can you see how perfect the folds are and the pattern holds it shape so well.

I won the smaller flowers from Wild Orchid and knew they were perfect with these colors of paper.
These were used as gifts for some special ladies that been great support for me.
So glad I could share these beautiful Cake slices from Creative Cuts and More.

Hello Everyone, Dawn ll here again
I decided to play around with just a couple ideas for favors to use for Baby Showers.
What better place to get my cake slices x- large from then Creative Cuts and More?

Had to share a few different views of this adorable Pink version.

I used some supplies from Hobby Lobby:

pink Prima flower

pink bead trim

That yummy white ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and is one of my favorite.

Do you notice that I used a few of my handmade flowers again?

For this blue version I used some more yummy ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I dug through my stash of buttons to use as accents.

So aren't these the cutest ideas to use at a baby shower?

Is This Spectacular or What? (heavy in pics)

Wedding season is a time when love is in the air- May I share some inspiration with you?
Hi Everyone, Dawn ll here today.
I have to say I think this turned out so Well -hope you like.
Creative Cuts and More has the most spectacular die cuts and the Cake Slice Box Set- Two Tier is one of my favorite to use.
I love the dies from Terry because they are perfectly cut and always the highest quality. I get to choose from hundreds of paper colors and weights or materials.
I see patterns on-line that can be cut out by myself but so not worth a poor quality product for something I want to last and look spectacular.


This Cake Slice Box Set- Two Tier cake (die cuts)was actually made for Terry in opalescent white metallic and I used Amethyst accessories.

Here is the basic supplies I started with to create this wonderful cake.

Let me share some steps to construct one of your own

You may also contact Terry at Creative Cuts and More to purchase the supplies and have me construct and decorate for you in your choice of colors.

I chose to use a cardboard cake form as a base. Killer red Tacky tape works best for this cake because I used metallic papers and I wanted it to stay together.I personally like to use a bone folder to make all the folds crisp, but it isn't necessary if you choose not to use one

White tissue paper works well to stuff the inside to help keep the form of each slice and not add weight to the cake.

Wanted to share a close up of the tape areas to help keep the slices together forever.

The larger size slices get placed on the bottom first and placed closely together to give the top layer the support it will need after fully decorated.

This is a quick view of the two tiers together undecorated.

These are the supplies used to decorate and assemble the Dress and Tuxedo Box Set.

The Dress & Tuxedo set come as a separate set and the suit, dress, shirt and tie can be made in any color choice you would like.
Each of these pieces can also be purchased separately.

I used Tulle that was dotted to accent the dress- sort of a thin liner so the pearl shine on the dress shows through.

Decorating the Two Tier Cake is the best part of this process. I started with the teardrop pearl and braided trim around the middle of each layer.
The bride and groom were added to the middle of the top of the cake at a slight angle to make room for decorations.
I was lucky to find these beautiful open flowers in a Amethyst shade to match the grooms shirt and tie.
I even added a small flower to the lapel and around the waist of the bridal dress

I had to add a couple butterflies to this Spring like two tier cake.

Valentine Cake Box Treat...

Here's a pretty Valentine Cake Box Treat I created using the Cake Box die cut from Creative Cuts & More. These little cake boxes can be made so quickly and decorated for so many occasions. My image is from Fred, She Said and my sentiment is a dollar stamp from JoAnn's.

Acetate Cake

Happy Sunday! I just finished up my last Christmas gift. Or at least the last one that I can remember I need! Tomorrow I may remember more gifts that need to be made.

I used the 12 Acetate Cake Slice Boxes to form a cake. I used Killer Red Tacky Tape to adhere the boxes together.

I bought a plate, trees and present from the dollar tree. I filled the cake slices with some of my favorite treats. I then twisted some ribbon around the outside and decorated the top! It was quick and easy and I think the recipients are going to love it! I'm definitely going to be keeping a acetate cake set on hand. They'd make great gifts for any occasion.

Fall Season = Caramel Apples

Hello Fall, hello Autumn! I just love seeing the leaves fall this time of year and having to curl up in a blanket to keep warm. Fall! Doesn't it jump start the holiday season and inspire you to bake goodies for your friends and co-workers? Well, here's an idea just for you...

I couldn't wait to take a stab at this ACETATE Cake Slice Box Set .
I filled them with Caramel Apple supplies:
Heath bars, white chocolate and caramel.
It makes enough for 4 people to take home
3 boxes each. Those three boxes will make 2 or 3
'white chocolate dipped & rolled
in Heath crumbs' caramel apples.

You could fill them with a cookie mix or
soup mix , the possibilities are endless!

Umm, umm good!!!

A little ribbon, a little brad and a little Killer Red Tacky Tape make the cake!
