Father's Day Creel Box

After a little bit of a break I am excited to be back to posting my creations on the Die Cut Diva Blog!  I made this fun little Creel Box for this weeks CHF challenge and wanted to be sure and share it with all of our Die Cut Diva Fans too!

Here's my Creel Box all decorated for my fisherman!

I started with a Creel Box die cut from Creative Cuts and more.  I stamped the Netting Backgrounder by CHF on the Creel Box with VersaMark ink and then put the box together using Killer White Tearable Tacky Tape.

The image and the sentiment are Digi stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms.

This Creel Box die cut fits a gift card and would be a very fun way to give one to your favorite fisherman!

Some new ladies are joining the Die Cut Diva design team so we should be back to more regular postings in June.

For a Rockin' Dad

Hi All!

Becky here today to share a little card I made for my FANTASTIC Father for Father's Day this year!

I used the Square Mini A7 Scalloped Window Card,

in Bazzill Canvas Texture "Thunder" Grey cardstock.

I first inked all the edges with Walnut Distress Ink. Then I stamped a length

of seam binding with a music stamp & tied that around the front of the card.

I added one of the great Petite Vintage Labels (Glimmered in Daffodil) with a layered circle stamped with "Thanks Dad" on top to the corner of the card.

Here's a peek thru the window:

Inside, I made a little pocket for an iTunes card out of some eggplant colored scrap. Then I stamped this FABULOUS "ipod" onto white, colored it in with pencils & added some Rock Candy Distress Stickles to the "music window" & yellow Stickles to the center of the "music selector."

I LOVE how it peeks through the window on the card & adds dimension to the inside!!

Lastly, I stamped "Happy Father's Day" onto another Petite Vintage Label & stuck it in the corner of the inside of the card!

Father's Day Box Idea

Our wonderful guest designer, Dawn has created this fun Father's cake box using our Creative Cuts and More "Cupcake Box".

Dawn wanted to make a box to hold a tie, the typical Father's Day gift. Dawn made some diamonds for the sides and paper pierced around them and just added some ribbon along the top of the box. She also used the insert on the bottom of the box so the tie would sit higher. This box would also work great for a pair of dress socks.
