A Thanksgiving Pop-Up!

I got to thinking, how cute would this be as place setting name tags for Thanksgiving dinner! Hmmmm...I just might have to do that!

With everything coming pre-cut and scored, it's a snap to embellish and put together! Before putting the base together with White Tear-able Tape, I embossed it with my Autumn Type embossing folder. The image is from Mark's Finest Papers, colored with Copics.

Here it is "closed", it's great because it folds flat for easy mailing!

Think how cute your table would look at your next family get-together! The Standing Pop-Up Cards come in a wide variety of colors. This particular one is Bazzill CrissCross Butterfly, Neenah Smooth White and Neenah Smooth Black.

Hi Bloggers!  It's Noelle posting today!

Have you tried the Standing Pop-Up Card yet?  It's a really fun card!  I love making them!

When the receiver pulls it out of the envelope it's flat like this. 

You pull it up a little bit, the card actually wants to open so it is obvious to the receiver what to do.  Then it pops up and stands on it's own!  Super cute!  I used The Man to decorate it and a green gel pen to color with.

I hope you had a great weekend! I stamped a ton over the weekend and have a fun Standing Pop Up Card to share with you today!

How fun is that??? It features a new Dustin Pike Dragon, "Pogoin' Dragon" from High Hopes Stamps.

I started with a Standing Pop Up Card from Creative Cuts & More die cut from Pear Bazzill Canvas Tuxtured Cardstock and decorated it with High Hopes stamps and my new Fiskars grass border punch.

I really don't make a lot of cards, but this one was just too fun to pass up! 

At first glance, it seems a rather ordinary, if not a strange looking card. But in reality, it's a super clever card that opens up to a little box with a tag/card standing in the middle - a nice little surprise in the mail for someone!

I ordered the whole she-bang in Kraft & Cream (it comes with the base & a layered card for the center piece) & Glimmer painted the base & the larger layer in green; cut some notches out of the top to look like a shipping tag; punched a hole & added the ribbon.

I attached a simple vintage image to the cream layer, inked the edges in green & attached it to the little "standing" tabs on the inside of the box through the opening in the top of the box with some Tacky Tape.

It's so cool how it fits in the envelope flat & then the recipient just pulls gently on the tag to make it pop open!

I stamped a little Christmas saying on the front of the box & then "jeweled" the edges with some "Candy Cane Red" Stickles!

I love how it's like a little table decoration to display!! 

It would also make really fun place cards at a Holiday table too! 

Or, how about making the layer on the tag a little pocket to put a gift card in?!

What fun!!
