Joy Christmas Card - Gate Fold

Today I have a Gate fold card using Acetate.
I recently did a fun Girls Night Out with a mini card class.
It included 2 cards a treat box for the girls to create.
This is one of the fun cards they made.

Used the amazing Carta Bella paper line for this card and a clear stamp from my stash
with Dazzling details to highlight the stars and holly.
Topped it off with a bow and it was complete. Just slide the band off add some writing and this Christmas card is ready to send to your friend or family member.

Enjoy,
Dianne

Santa Gatefold Card

Today I have a fun Gate fold Christmas Card that I made with a die cut Gate Fold Crescent A2 Card with Band from Creative Cuts and More.

Here it is all closed up and ready for mailing.
That fabulous Santa is a Jumbo Cling  stamp from Stampendous that I colored with Spectrum Noir Markers.
I can't find Santa in the store right now...I think he's out of stock but he'll back soon!
I stamped the background with Cling Jumbo Snowflakes and embossed with Winter Wonderland embossing powder.

Here's how it looks when you take the band off and open it up.
The inside sentiment is from "Tis the Season clear stamps.

You can order these great dye cut cards in tons of different color combinations.
Check them all out here.

miss you

hi there!  today i wanted to show you a gate fold card.  i love the idea behind this type of card because it's like a surprise is waiting even after you take the card out of the envelope!
i started with a gate fold a2 card in kraft.  then i stamped the friend definition on the band (color is ocean breeze).  added the miss you on the folded side.  then i took a piece of white cardstock, stamped the girl and colored with prismacolor markers.  finished with inking the edges to give a more subtle look for the sky and ground.  all stamps used are from unity and phylis harris (a unity co-brand).
have a good weekend and hope you can spend some time getting crafty!

Gate Fold Snowflake

Today I have a Gate fold Acetate card with a snowflake accent.

I created this card using the Gate fold card with Band in the acetate base and then adding a fold able card inside decorated with Be of Good Cheer SU Christmas designer paper. The band is layered and then I added the Snowflake #4 large embossed with Iridescent Ice and then layered with another snowflake also embossed with Iridescent Ice and a gem to finish it off.

Stamp set: More Merry Messages

Gatefold Crescent Stork Card

Hi All!!!

Today I've made a Gatefold Crescent A2 card with Mat and Band to share with you.

I used Petunia and Romance colored cardstock by Bazzill Basics.  This is a great die-cut card because it comes all cut out and scored and is really easy to decorate and put together with some Killer Red Tacky Tape!

Have you checked out CC & M?  You can order any of the die-cuts in any colors that you want.  Terri has hundreds to choose from!

Here's the outside of my card.

The band slides right off.  Here's the inside:

There is no way that I would be able to cut those rounded edges evenly which make this gatefold card so special and unique....well worth buying a ready made die-cut card!

Thanks for stopping by to see us!

Stop by again soon!

More Relay For Life Cards

Hi! It's Noelle posting today! I have a few more cards to share.
I love window cards! There are so many choices. This is the Filigree Rectangle Window A7 Scallop Card - Vertical. I used the Awareness Ribbon #02 - Small cut in velvet in the inside.

This is a bad picture but there is a very pretty covered in glitter Awareness Ribbon between the 2 purple ones, it just doesn't show up well in the pictures. I have never turned this Gate Fold Crescent A2 Card with Band side ways before. I love how it looks like an envelope, but it is really a card.
Here is another window card. The Awareness Ribbon Window Square Scallop Card - Horizontal. I love that you can get your cards in Horizontal or Vertical.
Thanks for stopping by today! This is the weekend for Relay For Life. Please keep all the walkers in your thoughts.
Don't forget Friday is our blog hop with SOUS!

Hi!  It's Noelle posting today!  Creative Cuts and More is donating cards to Relay for Life!
I love this Purse Note Card!  It's fun to make.  I ordered the Awareness Ribbon in tacky tape so I could put glitter on it.  Everything is always better when it sparkles right?
This is my favorite card and it took only minutes to complete.  I love this Gate Fold Crescent A2 Card with Band, super fast to make!  I had this Awareness Ribbon cut in velvet.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Time for Tea!

Hi everyone! It's Taylor here, with my very first post on the Die Cut Diva blog! Today I've made a Gatefold Crescent Card (in Bazzill Classic Smooth) from Creative Cuts & More. I love that the whole card comes cut and scored - I just had to make it my own! And this brand new stamp set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps was just perfect for this card.

Inside the card, I stamped the large sentiment, two small flowers, and used the "steam" as swirls on either side.
On the outside of the card, I added an Antique Label (in Neenah Smooth), sponged the edges, and stamped the teapot on patterned paper. I love the fun pattern paired with the Kraft. The band just slides off, and the card opens up. My husband is fascinated, lol!

Thanks for stopping by - have a great day!

Acetate in August

Welcome to our big August Acetate Blog Hop! We're shining our spotlight on the clear plastic acetate material that makes terrific cards, boxes, embellishments, and more. It can be stamped on, painted, and embossed -- which makes it a very fun, versatile choice for any project.

Let's start this party with some new, never-before-seen samples made with acetate components of our adorable Birthday Boy Card Kit, designed by Pam Smerker:

And here are a few more from the kits:

And here we have a card from Dusty Patrick. It is the A2 Acetate Card plus straight frame in black cardstock. The rubons are from Basic Grey.

Another sample is this card by Trish Estrella. It is the A2 Gate Fold Crescent Card with Band in Acetate. The stamps are from Fancy Pants.

And now for some fun news! We're getting ready to show off a fabulous new designer kit very soon -- and we're offering one up as a prize. It's so new, we don't even have a photo yet!
