Birthday Tag Card

I don't know about you but I always seem to need birthday cards so I have been working on building up my stash.  For today's projectI used a pre-cut card, Slash Pocket with Tag from Creative Cuts and More for my card base.

All the stamps are from the Make a Wish Cooper set from Paper Pretties.

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Markers.

Here's the inside of the card.

I hope you enjoyed today's card.  Check back soon for more fun Die Cut projects!

Slash Pocket Card

Hi Everyone! Danielle here, showing you something I made recently. The Slash Pocket Card came to me at the perfect time. My best friend is having a birthday. Since she is a bright, bubbly person I thought that is how I would make this to match. I loved this card, it's different from a traditional card and so fun!

Then for the inside I wanted to make it look like the birdie was wishing her the birthday greeting so I stamped him, colored him in and drew a word bubble.

God Bless America Tag Card

Happy Memorial Day!!!

As you enjoy your day of shopping, stamping, BBQing, or what ever you are doing...please don't forget to take a moment to remember what today is about!

Today is a day to commemorate U.S. soldiers who died while in the military service

Thank You to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for us and our country!!!

In the spirit of the day I made this patriotic Tag Card to share with you.

I started off with a "Slash Pocket with Tag" die cut from Creative Cuts & More.  The pocket is cut from white Neenah smooth and the tag is cut from Typhoon Blue Bazzill Canvas Cardstock.  I used killer red tacky tape to construct the pocket card and then adhered it to a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Red panel.  All the images are rubber stamps from Eureka Stamps.

Do You Like Tags???

I have some fun tags I put together to share with you today.
I am always in need of some fun ideas to add to gifts or a  special way to share a message to someone special.
Creative Cuts and More has some great die cuts that work for this very need.
Here is a view of the two I put together quickly to share.
I started with the Slash Pocket with Tag #05
one is in Bon Bon -pocket Bazzill Criss Cross ,Tag - Cocoa - Bazzill Criss Cross
the other is in Bazzill textured pocket - Bubble Gum - Bazzill Criss Cross
Tag - Pajama - Bazzill Criss Cross

For this first one I used one of my favorite Tilda images and luggage stack- both from Magnolis.
The images were colored with Copic markers- and fussy cut, and pop dotted to the front of the pocket holder.
Thought it needed some faux stitches to add some contrast.
Ribbon from my stash
Handmade flowers from my stash of Cricut and punch designed ones.
This is one of my favorite so far.
A little girls heart
must be wide and deep
to hold all the things
that she likes to keep
I got some of this great paper from Prima- just added a border cut from a design.
I decided to use a

Scallop Oval Frame #01 - Large

as a tag inside the pocket.
Frame was painted with some H20 paint to add the sparkle and shine.
Simple ribbon from my stash
I love these frames and find so many uses for them.
This is just a sheet of white card stock mounted to the back and decorated with a string of pearls and a handmade flower.
One last view of the frame made tag.
Have you taken time to browse through the Creative Cuts and More store?
Would love to hear some of your ideas of using other dies to make a creation- like I did with this frame.
Thanks for popping in and most of all for leaving a comment.
Our team appreciates all of your visits.
