Ho Ho Ho

Christmas in July continues at Creative Cuts & More! When I first saw this adorable Santa Peeker die by Cottage Cutz, I "pictured" him peeking out of a Polaroid frame. So that's what I decided on for my project today. His beard, mustache and hat are cut from pretty velvet paper, looks beautiful in real life!
His face started out white and I colored it with E00 and E02 Copics then some R20 on his nose and cheeks for a rosy effect. I finished him off with some googly eyes for fun!
You can really get creative in paper piecing these dies and have lots of fun!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for some more Christmas fun!

I took a close up of the Celebrate The Season.

Do you see how PERFECT the cut is?
Now, the background, darling little muffin, with a cupcake frosting!!!
Coming soon!  Consider it a sneak peek!

Peek a View Santa

More Christmas in July from
Creative Cuts and More!

All month long the design team from Creative Cuts and More are sharing great die cut Christmas projects.
I have a fun Peek a View box  that I paired with a die cut Santa Peeker by Cottage Cuts Dies.

This is a super fun way to give a gift or some other little treat.
I filled mine with candy canes.

I used Killer White Tacky Tape to put it all together.
I hope you are enjoying the Die Cut Divas Christmas projects this month.
Be sure and check back for more inspiration!

Santa Tin Gift Card Holder

Wow its Monday already! The weekend flew by.
Hope you had a wonderful one.

Today I have for you a simple, quick and fun project that I know everyone has a need for.
Gift card holders....

I have 2 nephews that I give either cash (the old standby) or a gift card if I know they are wanting a certain something from a certain some place. So I am always looking for easy to make, not so girly gift card holders. And I like to send a little treat too. When I saw these tins I thought of them instantly. Then I had the task of toning down my girly side (its not too girly but it did have some gem notions). I saw the Santa Peeker in my bag of fun treats I get to work with this month and it hit me. Perfect for the boys. Now I'm all set with their Christmas gift just need to add the cash/card in December and stick under the tree.
Check one thing off my To Do List for the holdiays!

Here is the inside of the tin:  Simple greeting and a strip of designer paper over cardstock - Added 4 nuggets covered in paper and there is room for the cash/card on top.
If I was giving this to a girl I would add some little decorations to the tops of the candies - boys nope! They wonder why you wrapped their candy.

Items I used: Santa Peeker from Cottage Cutz, Sassy Salutations Stamp set - SU
Tins, Cardstock, SU designer paper, corner rounder, White Tear-able tape
