Tags for Christmas

Happy Sunday!
I think someone did the Rain dance for us here in Colorado - Thank you!!
We got a huge rain storm last night and its a little overcast this morning with I think a little more rain on the way from the looks of the mountains - This is a nice change from the heat out here.

Today I have a set of Holiday Tags for you.

I used a variety of tags from Creative Cuts and More to create these fun gift giving tags.
Tag #02 small with layers, Tag #03 small with layers, Tag #04 small with layers, Tag#11 small with layers, flower, gift cards set small, and mini purse set.
I used the White tear-able tape , the new No Peeking stamp set from Stampin up, Flock with Iridescent Ice added for sparkle, Glossy Accents on the snowman for some raised oomph there, Copic markers, and bling on the snowman, tree and the purse tags. Designer paper is Stampin up and Ribbon is from my many jars of ribbon.
Have a wonderful Sunday everyone,

Dianne

A Card For Christmas In July

As you know Creative Cuts and More is celebrating Christmas In July! I know so many of us are living in areas that are experiencing heat waves! The Jersey Shore is no exception and we've also had some crazy thunderstorms lately, many people in the area without power for days in this 90-over 100 degree weather. We are lucky that hasn't happened to us! With that said, it is nice to get into "Christmas Mode" and dream of cold air and frosty nights!
I made a card today using the really fun Color Block A2 mat. I love using this because there are so many possibilities to create different looks.
I kept mine pretty clean and simple with stamps from Unity, Hero Arts and Paper Smooches.
I think it would also be fun to put pictures into the 2 bigger cut outs and stamp or embellish the others, really so many possibilities!!!
Happy Christmas in July!!! Hope you are staying cool! And for those of you in Colorado affected by the wildfires, my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you!

Celebrate the Season

The Die-Cut Divas are celebrating Christmas all month long with tons of die-cut inspiration!!!

Terry has started carrying the Cottage Cutz Dies in her store and they are awesome!
For my project today I made a card and gift box set using

The card base is a 5 1/4" Square Scallop card from Creative Cuts and More that was die cut from Bazzill Red Canvas cardstock.  The words were die cut from Bazzill Green cardstock.  The Dew Drops are from The Robins Nest.

The box is Square Box #01 from Creative Cuts and More cut from Red Bazzill cardstock.

The Cottage Cutz die, Celebrate the Season, is one that will get lots of use.
You could use it to make all your Christmas cards and it would be great on a scrapbook page full of wonderful Christmas pictures too!

Make sure you check back all month.
I'll have more great die cut projects to share with you!

Hey Bloggers!!

I love the Gable Box - Tall it is a great size and perfect for a gift!
It is super easy to decorate I embossed some Unity Kit of the Month stamps from June 2009.  I ran my bone folder over the score lines and used some Killer White Tear-able Tacky Tape - 1/4" to hold it together.
Quick and easy!

Cardinal with Holly Card

Christmas In July Continues.....

Today I have for you a card that uses the Cardinal with Holly and the Oval Window A7 Frame with Mat and Card Set

I needed a large card for this special Cardinal. The girls in my card class love birds and I know for my Christmas in July card class they will love him, But he is one big bird! (measures 4 1/4 from the top of his head to his tail feathers) So I went with the A7 size and he fit like a dream. I moved the holly around the card and love that there is so many different holly leaf options on this Cottage Cutz die. I know I will use that holly on many different cards too. That is one thing I love about the Cottage Cutz Dies - You can take so many of the different parts and use them on different cards. So having this die and maybe not always using a Cardinal  or the Holly but maybe having it your collection and working on that special project and needing that one part and you think "Oh I have that die and that Cardinal will work or that Holly will work to finish the card".  I just know once I started playing with these dies the details they have in the individual pieces are amazing. I have never had such intricate dies at my finger tips before.  Thank you Terry for introducing me to Cottage Cutz!

Paper used: Pomegranate Splash, Forest, and Cream
Stamp Set: Hand-Penned Holidays
Adhesive: Tear-able Tacky tape

Summer Twist Card

Happy Friday!

Hi All!!!

Kristine here with a fun summery Twist A2 card to share today.  I started off with a pre-cut Twist card from Creative Cuts and More.  I ran the sides of the card through my cuttlebug to make the embossed flowers.

Then I colored up this adorable Hula Kiddo by Stampendous and decorated this side.

The backside of the card uses Instant Vacation by Stampendous!

Here's another look at the backside.

These Twist card's are so easy to make when you start with a pre-cut card from CC and M!

You can check out more samples HERE!

Give it a try...I bet you'll be hooked.

Have a great weekend and Happy Crafting!

Chevron Crazy!

Noelle mentioned yesterday she loves Filigree, so I will share that I love Chevron!!! I'm addicted, I love all things chevron! So I thought I would create a chevron design out of washi tape on my album cover to share with you today. I used the 6 x 6 album and Scallop Wrap Cover in kraft. I am also crazy about kraft! Love it :)
This album is going to be a work in progress throughout the summer to document all of my "summer loves"! A fun little project that I can add to as I go along. That is one of the best things about these albums, you can order extra pages as needed and CC&M has Album Rings in several sizes so you can expand your album to fit your needs.

Check out the Albums Section of the Creative Cuts & More store. It's not too late to start a "summer loves" album of your own!

My all time favorite shape, the Filigree!

Hello,  it is Noelle posting today!
I LOVE anything in the Filigree shape!  Such a great rectangle!

This card is from our Fall All Occasion Card Kit that is sadly sold out.  I am linking to it any way so you can see how fantastic the CC&M kits are.  They are always jam packed full of fantastic loot!  This one has cards [and a ton of them], envelopes, a K & Co. paper pad, beautiful fibers, buttons, skittles and rub-ons!  Such a great deal and it makes putting a card together so easy!
The bird stamp is from {ippity} Dream To Be
Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Celebrate Poppers and fun news!!

Happy Monday!
Well I am running a little late in the day today - Sorry but I have some great news...
My 1st granddaughter was born this morning. Figured you would understand my post coming in this afternoon instead of this morning. I had to go meet her!!!!
Miss Norah arrived at Sky Ridge weighing in at 7lbs 2 oz and 19 inches long.
She is so tiny and so cute. I can't wait till I get more time with her and her mom (Ok her dad too)..

Now for the other important stuff:

I made these fun Party Poppers as we call them from where I am from originally (Oregon) here on the Creative cuts and More site they are called Candy Boxes. I decorated them with the new die called Celebration Phrase (4X4) What a fun die for cards or boxes.

Steps I took:
Picked out fun paper that would be great for boys and girls at a party.
Assembled the candy boxes using killer red tacky tape for that super duper hold when candy is involved!
Tied one end of the boxes - add candy - tied the other (remember these boxes have a 1/2 hole on each side so I chose larger candy that would not fall out the ends - you can place the candy in a zip-loc baggie if you chose to use smaller candy)
Mixed the celebrate up and the confetti  and glued on to the boxes.
I was done in a Jiffy and ready to move on to the next party task.

If you have a party coming up soon I suggest you take the time to consider this as a favor it will cut your party favor time processing down and free you up for the other tasks you have to do.

Have a wonderful Monday everyone,
Dianne

Thank you.

Hello everyone!!  This is my first post as a new member of the design team. Thanks for letting me share some craftiness with you today.

I always seem to need a thank you card but never have any around. So I made this thank you card using a circle small window A2 card base.  I also used scallop circle frame as a border around the circle on the base.  I stamped the background using a Hero Arts stamp, then stamped inside the card with thank you stamp from Unity.

Have a good weekend and hope you can spend some time getting crafty!

Gift Wrapping Made Easy

Another reason to love Creative Cuts & More! So many ways to give a gift in style :)
Here I used the Square Box #1 in kraft to wrap a bracelet for my cousin. Before assembling the box, I stamped it with the Hero Arts/Studio Calico Quatrefoil background stamp. Assembled it in no time using Killer White Tear-able Tacky Tape (how did I ever live without this adhesive?!?!)
I finished it off with a sheer butterfly ribbon and one of the new Cottage Cutz flowers, Flower 2 Layered 3x3.
This is so much better than a boring white box, and can be reused by the recipient!

Thanks for stopping by today, be sure to check out the rest of the Cottage Cutz dies now offered at Creative Cuts and More!

So Berry Sweet

Hello!!  It's Noelle posting today with another window card!!
I think I love these window cards so much because I usually never do anything inside the card to leave more room for my giant handwriting!
I used the Square Window A7 Card for this one.  I used Stickles to color the strawberries.  The stamps are from Unity's Kit of the Month 06/12 {sweet summer love} the ribbon is from my stash.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Thank You - Plumeria Card

Happy Monday everyone. Hope your weekend and Fathers day was relaxing and wonderful.

Today I have a thank you card we did in my June card class. It was a huge hit. But they always get excited when I bring out flowers and my cake ball tools that we use to break down the paper and puff up the flowers to make them pop!
I used the Plumeria and leaves Die from Cottage Cutz. If you have not seen it yet take a look at it over at Creative Cuts and More. This is a die I think everyone should have in their die collection. It makes beautiful flowers. With the different leaves, the multiple flower sizes and the vine pieces it gives you lots of options for flowers on scrapbooking pages and cards as well as gift items. The possibilities are endless.
If you can't tell its one of my favorites of the current collection in stock.

Another little tip -  Use the Killer White Tear tape to keep your embossed paper attached on your cards it works like a dream!

Square Scallop Cards

Hi All!

It's Kristine again!

I had these two cards on my blog all ready but I wanted to share them here too since I made both of them with a Creative Cuts Card base!  This is a 5 1/4" Square Scallop Card.  I love these because with the scallop edge they all ready look cool before you even get started decorating it!

This 5 1/4" Square Scallop Card was cut out of  Ivy Bazzill Canvas Textured Cardstock.
I cut a strip of patterned paper and adhered it to the bottom backside of the card so that it shows through the scalloped edge.  I adhered Dew Drops to each of the Scallops too.

The image is a newly released image from High Hopes Stamps and I colored it with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.

Here is another card that started as a 5 1/4" Square Scallop Card.  This one was cut out of Caribbean Breeze Bazzill Smoothies card stock.  I used dew drops on this one too!  Those scallops just cry for some fun embellishment...don't you think?

The mermaid is from Stampendous Stamps and the sentiment is AmyR stamps.

I always keep a bunch of different colors of these
around because they are such a great jumping off point for making cards!

I hope you liked what I did with them are feeling inspired to try some!

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh how I love a window card!!!

Hi Peeps!  It's Noelle posting today!  I am back after a very long break!  I'm excited about it too!!
I hope this post finds you all well!
I used the Rectangle Window A7 Card - Vertical  I love how big the card is there was plenty of room for the giant Bo Bunny ribbon I had to buy and the awesome trio of dress forms from my Unity KOM Love in an Instant.  That hilarious sentiment "it's not easy being queen of the entire freakin' universe." is also from that kit!
I used Killer White Tear-able Tacky Tape - 1/4" to attach the ribbon.  If you don't have any you must get some!  $6.00 for 55 yards and no scissors required.  The tape is a MUST have!!

Before I go I wanted to share with you our newest product.  COTTAGE CUTZ DIES!!!  I am so excited I can't stand it!  If you love paper piecing like I do you will love these dies!  You can check them out HERE.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!!
Happy Shopping!

PreSchool

School is almost out! Two more days. With that said, I am working on trying to get some scrapbook layouts done of my son before I turn around and he is graduating high school! Creative Cuts and More has many products to make that easier to do! On this layout, I kept things simple, to focus on the framed photo of my son. I used the Schoolhouse Picture Frame-Large which was a perfect center piece for this page!

Coin Purse Card

Today I'm Sharing with you a fun card I made using the
 Coin Purse Die.
I had some left over Mocha Morning paper that needed to be used up. It was begging me to be used for this purse. I added some velvet to the top and oh my it looks like I spent a fortune on this special gift.
The White tear-able tape holds the paper together like a dream and ball and chain kit finish it off to complete the look.

I added some Crystal shimmer paper to the inside to give some writing room but only on one side.
Topped it with black paper and left the other side just black.

Hope you love this little gem as much as I do,
Dianne

Happy Bear-Day Box

Hi All!

Kristine here again with a fun, summery gift box to show you.

I started with a Popcorn Box from Creative Cuts & More.
Did you know that you can choose the color you want your die cut from?
And....Terry has a TON of different colors and paper types to choose from!

I chose Bazzill Smoothies Pineapple Bliss card stock for my box.

I randomly stamped a flower all over the box before I put it together.  I used Killer White Tacky Tape to put the box together.  This stuff holds things together really well!

Finished box is 5" high.
Here's a side view:

All of the stamps I used for this are available from
High Hopes Stamps.

This box would hold a gift card, candy, or some fun markers or embellishments for a crafting friend!
Order a few in different colors so you'll be ready for any occasion that comes up!

Thanks for stopping by!

Father's Day Creel Box

After a little bit of a break I am excited to be back to posting my creations on the Die Cut Diva Blog!  I made this fun little Creel Box for this weeks CHF challenge and wanted to be sure and share it with all of our Die Cut Diva Fans too!

Here's my Creel Box all decorated for my fisherman!

I started with a Creel Box die cut from Creative Cuts and more.  I stamped the Netting Backgrounder by CHF on the Creel Box with VersaMark ink and then put the box together using Killer White Tearable Tacky Tape.

The image and the sentiment are Digi stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms.

This Creel Box die cut fits a gift card and would be a very fun way to give one to your favorite fisherman!

Some new ladies are joining the Die Cut Diva design team so we should be back to more regular postings in June.

I hope you'll be back soon for some more inspiration!
