Winter Arch Window

Be sure to scroll down for MORE from the Valentine's Day Blog Hop and the Challenge!

Remember my fall arch window card (seen here)? I wanted to do something with a winter theme, so I ordered another A2 Arch Window card from Creative Cuts and More in this gorgeous Pomegranate color (Bazzill Canvas Texture). Instead of going with green and red, which are Christmas colors, I went with red and white and a hint of sky blue coloring for that frosty feel.

The stamps are from Cornish Heritage Farms' Christmas Critters and Winter Trees sets. The deer, cardinal, and penguin were all colored with Copic markers and then "fussy cut." Why a penguin? With this Arctic blast that we've had here in Texas, it sure feels like we live in Antarctica this month! LOL

For the snow at the bottom of the card, I used this fun stuff called Faux Snow. I applied some liquid glue all around the bottom and then covered it with this Faux Snow. I had to add just a touch of warm fuzzies by tying some soft fluffy white fibers around the side of the card.

Here's hoping you stay warm this winter!

Die Cut: A2 Arch Window card from Creative Cuts and More
Stamps: Winter Trees and Christmas Critters from Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink: Broken China distress, Tuxedo Black Memento, Espresso - Adirondack
Cardstock: white
Other: sponge, copic markers, white fibers, Faux Snow
