Hi everyone -
This is Chris Dickinson coming to share a project from the from the Christmas Card Kit. The Christmas Card Kit is packed with FUN die cuts, ribbons, cardstock and materials for 12 cards! You will get 6 full sheets of Designer papers and a package of ribbon - even some adorable stamps that you see featured here. 2 sheets of Rub Ons too. Candy Cane Cocoa!

Hi! My name is Noelle and I am one of the new members of the Creative Cuts & More design team! I am so excited to be here!

I had a blast making these Mug cards! The smaller rhinestones are from the Rhinestone & Pearl Bling Kit which a absolutely ADORE! I was wishing I had one card in red so I could use the pearls too! I used the Killer Red Tape to close the card.

The stamps are by Inkadinkado and Stampendous. The embossing powder is also by Stampendous.

Fuzzy Snowman scene card

Don't you just love these A2 Four Pane Window cards from Creative Cuts and More? I've had a blast creating a bunch of cards with these. Here is my latest creation with a Fuzzy Snowman scene.

The A2 Four Pane Window card is die cut from Carob Cream Bazzill Smoothies cardstock, and I stamped some white snow all over the front. The snowman is a die cut from Creative Cuts and More as well, and I covered it with glue and then smooshed some Polar White Flower Soft into the glue until I had him covered, except for the hat. I used a black copic marker to color in the hat. After the glue was dry and the Flower Soft was set, I squirted on some black stickles for the eyes and the buttons. The mouth was done with a tiny sharpie marker.

See the little twigs for the snowman's arms? I found a scrap piece of brown cardstock and just freehandedly cut out the twigs. I used more scrap pieces of cardstock to create the little sign next to the snowman. :-)

The wreath was colored with copic markers and then dotted with some red stickles. I used a clear stickles on the torn paper down below for the snow drifts, and I created some icicles across the top of the card with the same clear stickles. Lots of waiting around for things to dry, but it was worth it. :-)

Nothing beats a warm cup of cocoa or hot steaming cup of coffee {a nice holiday blend is my personal favorite} this time of year. What better way to tell a friend how much they mean to you buy sending them this festive Mug Card this holiday season!

You can make this foam by adding equal parts of salt, flour and water to a bowl and mix. Spread it along the top of the card and let it dry...it's that easy!

Pretty Decorations

Are you ready for Christmas? haha...I'm sure not! One thing I struggle with is making a pretty package. I love to wrap, but rarely have the ribbon and bows on hand to make the present look pretty! I put a lot of work into mini albums this year to give as gifts. I wanted to present them in a better way than a gift bag. I decided to make my own boxes to fit the mini albums perfectly in matching paper. I then altered the outside of the box. Here I used some fun felt flowers in Olive and Ruby. I topped it with a Beetle Black Jewel. It was super simple and I feel a lot more impressive than a gift bag.

Holiday Wishes & Seasons Greetings

I get the opportunity to showcase one of my favorite boxes from Creative Cuts & More - they are called Peek A View boxes and are exclusive from CC&M - that's because the center/midsection of the box is acetate and the recipient gets a little glimpse of what's inside. With these CC&M die cuts, cut and scored all you have to do is use a little creativity and some Killer Red Tacky Tape with whatever decoration and embellishments you have on hand.






















Both use “Peek a View” die cut boxes from Creative Cuts & More, decorated with two of my favorite OCL Holiday Releases “Tag You’re It” and “Parka Penguins”. The peek a view box has an acetate middle so the recipient can get a little glimpse of the treats stuffed inside. Both boxes have a white and red theme going on – including the peppermint melt candies stuffed inside. A little coloring with COPICS, some white Flower Soft and “Ice Crystal” Crafty Sparkles glitter really add some dimensionals/pop dots and bling! The first box also uses a couple of border strips using Threading Water border punch. The second box lid and bottom were run through a Cuttlebug embossing folder. Add some satin ribbon and pom-pom ribbon, a couple of glittered snowflakes, and tags attached to the front finish the projects. It’s real easy peasy to access the goodies stuffed inside – just lift/slide up the top….. Fun huh? Keep in mind that the “Tag You’re It” is a year round set – the sentiments range from Holiday Wishes and Seasons Greetings to Happy Birthday, Sealed with Kisses (that will be a fun one for Valentines or just because), playing Tag You’re It, and Celebrate!!!, With Love, Baked with Love. I hope you’ve enjoyed the samples and ideas for using this versatile set. Same goes for these super cute and easy Peek a View boxes.

Merry Christmas Creative Cuts and More!!

Thanks so much for letting me design for you!! This is the sleigh die cut from Creative Cuts and More. I have seen so many completely different and beautiful styles made with this die. Here I used a Flourishes stamp and LOTS of silver glitter. Too much, maybe? NAAAHHH!!! There's also tinsel, silver bells, SU! silver cord, thin organdy ribbon, and a tin snowflake. I did both sides identically so it looks the same from every angle. I got the gorgeous little balls from M's. I have no idea whatsoever what they are for, but they were irresistible!!! The birds are from M's as well.

Two Tantalizing Warm Projects!

This month, Creative Cuts and More is excited to have several very talented Guest Designers!

Today we are featuring some projects created by the very gifted Amber! Amber is a SAHM to 4 kids. She enjoys working with my hands..be it; sewing, cake decorate, scrapbooking or stamping, she loves them all!

Here are a few more creations Amber made using Creative Cuts & More die cuts.

She made this adorable block card a week ago for the IC207 challenge on SCS.

Amber used Tweet Winter Wishes from Our Craft Lounge along with their Crafty Fluff on some of the images. And embossed snowflakes with Iridescent Ice on the background of some of the panels. Used Prismacolor pencils and odorless mineral spirits to blend. The snowman’s hands are popped up and so is the bird skating on the bird bath. The earmuffs/hat/scarf/mittens is also on dimensions.


For her second project, she created this adorable little sleigh, also from Creative Cuts & More. Amber embossed the poinsettia from Blessed Christmas by Our Daily Bread in gold over the entire sleigh. Added adhesive to the side/middle piece and put it together and there was her sleigh! See how easy that was? Now she has a beautiful festive center piece for her table. (She filled it with Mint Truffle Kisses but was sad to say they didn’t last long!)

Just think of the different ways you could decorate and fill this sleigh. The possibilities are endless.

Winter Housewarming Gift

A new friend, a new home....

I had to use this cool Square Bag #01 from Creative Cuts & More.

It's the perfect size for my new Papertrey Ink stamp set.

There are two sizes to choose from. I used the largest one here that measures

3-1/4” wide by 4-3/4” high with handles (3-1/4” high without handles) x 1-1/2” deep.

This little cutie already has a new home. I actually gave it away the DAY I made it. 

That is unheard of for me.

I made some yummy Festive Winter Bark with white chocolate, pretzels, Rice Crispies and Heath bits. I filled a little glassine bag and tucked it inside. My new friend was thrilled and it made my day to give it to her.


Square Bag #01

Easy Holiday Gift Giving with the Crayon Box

The Crayon Box isn't just for school items and kids...it also is a beautiful way to present small gifts and even gift cards this Holiday Season. The best part is that you can choose the color you want and decorate accordingly. So pick them up in red and green or a neutral color like I did here:

You can cover them with patterned paper or leave them as is. For this one, I used some left over raffia from a basket I got last year and added some ribbon and other embellishments.

Gingerbreadman Gift Bag

Have you got all your Christmas gifts wrapped up and ready to go? Yeah, me neither. LOL I created this quick and cute little gift bag to inspire you for those harried times. Keep a stash of these great little Square Bags #01 on hand for when you need something fast. Kraft goes with any occasion, so go ahead and order 10 or 20 in a kraft color for your stash.

I stamped the gingerbread man with a brown ink onto some scrap kraft cardstock and cut him out. I accented him here and there with a white gel pen to mimic the frosting he would have on his arms, legs, and face. After cutting out the square backgrounds, adhering the buttons, and tying the ribbon on the top, this bag took less than 10 minutes to make from start to finish.

Winter Cupcake Pick-Me-Up!

I love to decorate the Cupcake Box Set & give it as a  

sweet little gift for a friend.

I had the box cut in Ocean Breeze and the lid in

Cream Bazzill Smooth Cardstock.

I ordered a sheet of the Ocean Breeze and Cream so I could make cards and tags to match!!

I couldn't stop stamping so I added a little to the inside.

It's the same arrangement that is on one side of the box.

Cupcake Box Set

Quick and Easy Thanksgiving!

Well, I can't say your meal will be quick to prepare but with the cake slice and chair boxes from Creative Cuts and More decorating the table will be a snap!

Check out these wine glass charms, they are a breeze to make using the large leaf die cut out of shrink plastic. Simply punch a 1/4" hole at the top of the charm, dab with alcohol ink. and shrink with a heat gun. I used a copper leaf pen to color the sides and back of the charms. Slide the charms on a wine class ID hoop along with some beads and you are done. These would make great Christmas gifts and you can make several sets for a few dollars.

Enjoy time with your families this Thanksgiving and instead of hitting the mall on black Friday why not shop at Creative Cuts and More instead!

I thought since I filled it with buttons that it needed a button handle! I just strung some hemp through the button holes and tied a knot on each side.

Last two cards from the Christmas Card Kit

Here are the last two cards that I created using the Christmas Card Kit available from Creative Cuts and More. You don't want to wait to order your kit - there's a limited supply of these available, and you need to get your Christmas cards created so you can mail them out to family and friends this holiday season.


The card below doesn't look like much of a card, does it? It's actually a Standing Pop Up card. When you push down on the edges, the little card pops up from a slit in the middle. Too cool!!!



You don't want to add bulky brads or ribbons because you need the card to slide freely up and down in the little slit. Here, I used a rub-on in the center.




This last card is an A2 Purse Card with layer and gift card layer set. The purse is red and the inside layers are cream colored cardstock. I used the mittens stamp (included in the kit) and colored the cuffs with a red copic markers (my own). I stamped the mittens again onto some green designer paper that comes with the kit, cut them out and paper pieced them onto the mittens on the cream cardstock. Then I cut them out with my own Spellbinders Nestabilities circles. I used the red and black cardstocks that are included in the kit, and cut those layers with Nestabilities as well.




For the inside sentiment, I used a rub-on (included in the kit) directly on some designer paper that is part of the kit. Before I cut it out, I noticed the tree shape of the sentiment. So instead of cutting it out in a circle or a square, I used scissors to cut the sentiment out in a tree shape. Too fun! The other inside layer has some slits so you can stick a gift card inside. Perfect for the holidays, isn't it?

More Christmas Card Kit sneak peeks!

I have three more cards from the Christmas Card Kit (available from Creative Cuts and More) to show you today. My goal was to show you the wide variety of cards you can create with this kit. You could go for clean and simple or you can go for eclectic and funky or you can even go for fun and cutesy. That's how versatile this card kit is.


For this card below, I kept it simple. Everything you need is included in the kit except for the red ink and the white cardstock. I just stamped the sentiment on the white cardstock and cut it out in a circle shape and adhered it to the red scallop circle which is in the kit. I love the designer paper that is included in this kit. Everything coordinates so well.



This is a larger card - 5" x 7". It's perfect for this larger rub-on that is in the kit. I stamped the mittens on some white cardstock, colored them with copic markers, and cut them out. I added some clear diva drops, or skittles, from the kit to each of the little scallops at the bottom of the card.



This card uses the large Tacky Tape snowflake that is included in the kit. All I had to do was take the backing off the snowflake, stick it down on the cardstock, remove the top layer of backing and then pour glitter all over it. The glitter sticks so well to this!

The glitter and the red Stickles are not included in the kit, but everything else is. I love the soft shimmer of this red card.

More Sneak Peeks!!

As promised, here are a few more sneak peeks for you. I created these from a new Christmas Card Kit that is now available from Creative Cuts and More. This kit includes die cut cards, cardstock, designer paper, ribbon, stamps, and Christmas rub-ons - everything you need to make 12 cards. All you need to supply is adhesive and inkpads.


Everything on this Felt Holly card is included in the kit except for the scalloped white cardstock. I added that just to jazz up my card. :-)



For this cocoa mug card, I stamped the cup of cocoa image (included in the kit) and colored it with copic markers. The image and the red mat was cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities. A package of hot cocoa mix fits perfectly inside this cool die cut mug.



The only thing I added to this adorable Be Merry Bear card is that I embossed the darker green cardstock with a snowflake Cuttlebug folder. I love the shimmer on this card! The sentiment and the bear are from the package of rub-ons that are included in the kit.
