Another Square Card, these have a SCALLOP edge!

Hi Everyone!

It's Noelle today with another square card! I can't get enough of these! I also love scallops. So a square scallop card?!?!?!?!? I think it is the GREATEST! I took these pictures in a group. I made all four of these along with a set of Thank You cards in no time at all! My original plan was to make them a gift but I have already sent them all out.
I had the 1.5" squares custom cut in My Mind's Eye paper, then I stuck them on copy paper after inking them. Then I ran them through my CuttleBug with my label Spellbinder Nestability. I put them on with some pop dots and tied a ribbon FX on. [I think I got the roll from Michael's but that brand is what the roll says.] Then I took a small piece of the scrap paper from the squares that I had not thrown away yet and stuck it down so you could see it under the scallop. The stamp is from Stampendous. It was SO easy and quick. I can't wait to make a ton more of these because they are so easy to make, I think they are pretty too! I think I'll have these scallop cards cut in every color available so I can get a stash of cards and make sets to give as gifts!
Thanks for stopping by today, Happy Shopping!

Tag Mini Album

Creative Cuts & More has one of my favorite shaped mini albums, the tag shape. This is the Tag Mini Album Set (5"x7"). I also used the Large #02 Tag and the Small #02 Tag in the colors Rosey and Thunder. I used papers, ribbons and chipboard mostly from Cosmo Cricket Earth Love line. Some of the chipboard and ribbon are from other Cosmo Cricket lines.

Each page has tags that you can pull out. I haven't decided what I want to fill this mini album with yet. It would make a great anniversary or birthday album as you could put a picture on the page and journal a memory on the tag. I thought about filling it with pictures of family as I think Peyton would really enjoy looking at this mini with movement!

Kinkade Arch Window

After making all kinds of cute and pretty things, it was time for me to go in the opposite direction with a masculine card. This arch window card has a Thomas Kinkade scene stamped on the inside so it really does look like you are looking out a window. I used the A2 Arch Window die cut in a chocolate brown cardstock color.

I brayered some brown ink onto the stamp to get the best impression and then stamped it on some ivory cardstock. This image works beautifully with these window cards from Creative Cuts and More. Once I was sure the ink was dry, I used a sponge to add a little Old Paper distress ink to age up the image a bit.

It is fun to pull out stamps that have scenes on them and use them with these arch window cards. Do you have scenic stamps hiding in your crafting space? Pull them out and order some A2 Arch Window die cuts and create some beautiful cards in no time.

Crayon Box

This is a simple diecut Crayon Box
made into a beautiful Thank You gift box.

I stamped a nice, cream colored piece of cardstock with polka dots and a sentiment then attached it to the bottom half of the craft colored diecut Crayon Box before I assembled it. I embellished the front with a stamped flower, ribbon, buttons and gems.
Too easy!

It only needs one strip of Killer Red Tacky Tape along one edge (see flat blue box below) and then the bottom folds into itself.... just like the crayon box you had in elementary school.

Visit Creative Cuts & More to see our HUGE assortment of diecut boxes, bags, embellies, cardstock and so much more!

Here are a few diecuts that
I will be working on in March.

Daddy's Girl

Hi Everyone!

It's Noelle posting today. I am posting for my sister Carla, who is busy moving. It is impossible to fill her creative shoes so I thought I'd WOW you guys with these gorgeous flowers! I had the large, medium and small flower cut in My Mind's Eye Just Dreamy paper. I sprayed them with Glimmer Mist and curled the edges of the petals. I glued them together and then put the pearls from the Rhinestone and Pearl Bling Kit in the middle. I seriously can not get enough of the bling in the kit. The Bling Tool makes it SO EASY to put the tiny little pieces where ever you want. I LOVE it!

The border punch is a Martha Stewart that came with a corner punch. I can't recall the name, Loopy set maybe? All the paper except the flowers is Bazzil Bling. Daddy's Girl I cut with my Cricut, the font is Pooh. All the oval shaped pearls are also from Martha.

If all that didn't WOW you, did you see how much my DH loves our Carlee Rae? That's why scrapbooking is so important to me. In 20 years Carlee will know how happy her Daddy was when she was born.

Thanks for looking today, Carla will be back after she has moved and unpacked her stamp room!

Then I stuck them on and tied the brown ribbon on. Then I cut the label with a Spellbinder die, stamped on the butterfly and the sentiment and put it on with some pop-dots! Easy as pie! Oh and lots of chestnut roan Colorbox chalk ink! Last, but certainly not least I added Stickles!

Scrapbook Layout

Hey everyone! It's Kayla here to share another one of my layouts with you. This layout has a lot of my favorites: brown, distressing, sewing and a large scalloped circle. I'm VERY addicted to these large Scallop Circles, they are so much fun!

Here I used the Scallop Circle in Java I distressed the edges some and really like how it came out.

Now for the flower. This was the Flower #06 - Small in Java and the lighter brown color that slips my mind at the moment. I inked the edges using my Colorbox Chalk Eye Dark Brown ink pad. I then covered them with Ranger Crackle Accents. Once they were completely dry I went over the top of them with a Creamy Brown Colorbox Chalk ink to take the shine away from the crackle medium. The crackle medium made them curl up a bit, which was perfect!

I tried a 'new to me' fun technique of writing on the photo using my UniBall Signo pen. I also did lots of sewing.

Other items used: Crate Paper and Die Cuts, American Crafts Thickers and unknown brad and scraps of paper.
Thats it for me today! I hope you were inspired to get crafting! Thanks for stopping by. I hope you check back soon!

Acetate Puff Box

Hey bloggers, Steph Zerbe here.

Today's featured die cut is the
Puff Box - Short cut from acetate.

The Puff Box is real easy to assemble.
I just used one strip of 1/4 in. Killer Red Tacky Tape.

Then I used another strip of tacky tape to adhere the lace trim. Added a few flowers with glue dots and filled it with buttons. A crafty friend's dream gift!!!

I punched a half circle with a 1-1/4 inch punch
to make it easier to get to the assorted buttons.

Many boxes and shapes can be cut from acetate.

Here are a few of my favs:

Love You Much

Hi, it's Lisa, and I've got a quick and easy project to share with you using Heart die cuts just in time for Valentine's Day.  For my card, I used the new Mono Die Tutorial from the February TJNL and the Heart #02 - Mini die cut  in Bazzil Watermelon Smoothies. The texture on the Hearts is from the CuttleBug Damask folder.  The Hearts are embossed and layered on a Bazzil Watermelon Smoothies panel, then to the Chocolate base card.

The image is Stampin' Up!'s Love you Much set.  I inked the image in Markers, stamped on the White card stock, colored the image, than added an adhesive gem to the center of the flower.

Details:

Ink - Markers, Pixie Pink
Card Stock - Chocolate Chip, White, Bazzil Watermelon Smoothies

Do you LOVE making your own albums?

I know I do! Hi everyone! It's Noelle posting really late today. This Mix and Match album is THE BEST!! I had the front and back cover cut in acetate. Then I had 8 pages cut in chipboard. Then I had all the pages custom cut again in My Minds Eye Twinkle Twinkle Little Girl for all the right sides and all the left sides cut in a matching Bazzil or Stardust. I wish I could show you today, but I am not finished with the album. Here is the cover and the second page.

If you are a Nosey Nellie like me you will want to know what the journaling says. It says Carlee loves it when Morgan paints her toes. Carlee has a new camera smile. [The stinker smiles like this almost EVERY time I take her picture. You will see the same smile on upcoming pages, where I can journal more about it.]

So if you want to make a mini album for your coffee table of all your favorite pictures I highly suggest your order this Mix and Match album. I love the size and the edges a lot!

The flower is a Prima, the font is Moxie from Quickutz which I also ran through my CuttleBug with my Swiss Dots folder. The journaling card is also from My Mind's Eye, the Tres Jolie line I think.

Thanks for looking today you really should take a look at all the albums that Creative Cuts and More has to offer. I love them all and soon the people that come to my house will just have to hold their coffee cup while they look through all the albums on my coffee table! :-)

Valentines Bag & Treat

Today I have a couple more Valentine projects to share! The first one is a Square Bag. I just love these bags. They are so much fun to alter for any occasion and just because.
Next up is a little valentine for my son. He LOVES suckers. I took a large Velvet Heart and used some Baby Blue Stickles to jazz it up a bit. I put two slits in it and slid a sucker in! These would be great and super simple valentines for children to make (minus the cutting the slits part). If you haven't checked out previous posts yet, make sure too. There are some great projects shown!

Button Heart Box

I ordered the Heart Pocket Box from Creative Cuts and More in this gorgeous metallic cardstock called Jupiter Stardream. Can you see the shimmer in this photo?

I didn't want to cover it up too much, so I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and cut it out with a heart shaped die. Then I poured out a container of buttons and just arranged to my heart's content. This Heart Pocket Box comes with holes punched out at the top, so all I had to do was assemble the box (using Killer Red Tacky Tape) and tie some ribbon through the holes.

Now can't you just see yourself making these in all different kinds of colors? You could order a pink box and use red buttons, or you go non-traditional and order a purple box and decorate with yellow buttons. Wouldn't that be fun? Go check out the fun die cuts over at Creative Cuts and More today and let your creativity go wild. :-)

DH & DS's suddenly interested in stamping!

It's very curious. I've noticed that since I started using Bombshell stamps, my husband and two teenage sons have taken a sudden interest in my projects. Hmm... Why do you think that is?

Well, anyway, this sexy cowgirl is one of two cowgirl images from Bombshell Stamps' Retro Cowgirl set, isn't she cute?
Take a look at the little buckle. That's from Creative Cuts and More. I chose to have it cut out of medium weight chipboard, then asked that they cut me the same dies in bronze stardream metallic card stock. It adds a subtle sheen to this card, which shockingly enough, does not have any glitter or bling on it. I did touch the stardust pen to strategic areas, because I think there's a regulation against entirely shimmer- free cards.

Stuff:
Stamps- Bombshell Stamps: Retro Cowgirl
Paper: SU!: Chocolate Chip, Designer (weathered?), More Mustard & watercolor, CC&M: chipboard & stardream bronze
Ink- Versamark, Color Box Fluid Chalk Ink: Chestnut Roan
Goodies- die cut buckle from CC&M, brads, tag die, American Crafts ribbon, various markers, popdots

Will You Be My Valentine?

Hi everyone! It's Noelle and I am IN LOVE with this candy box!! It took me longer to decide what color I wanted to emboss with then it did to put the box together! I used Killer Red Tape to seal it. I punched double sided sticky tape with a heart punch and stuck them on. Some have micro beads and some have glitter. Then I stamped all 4 sides with a word or saying using a white pigment pad. Then I piled on some UTEE [Ultra Thick Embossing Powder] and heated it up. I peeled off the backing of the Killer Red Tape folded the creases and it was together in less than 30 seconds! I tied a bow on each end and added a 'skittle' to the ends. It was SUPER easy! When Carlee starts preschool I can't wait to make these for all the kids in her class! This one will have one of the really big Lip Smackers in it for my older daughter. If you decide to put in a small candy you will need to use a bag to keep them in, there is a tiny hole in each end.

If you need super quick and easy gift holders you will love using this Candy Box from Creative Cuts and More! Thanks for looking today!

Scalloped Circle Shaker Card

Close-up of Creative Cuts and More shaker kit card~

You can see how perfect all the cuts are, and I didn't have to do any of it! I got to spend my stamping time watercoloring the lovely Bombshell Angel instead of trying to cut a bunch of stuff out-how cool is that?

Stuff:
Stamps-Bombshell Stamps: Bombshell Angel
Paper: from CC&M: Onyx & Rose Quartz Stardream die cuts, Basic Gray Two Scoops, SU! wc paper
Ink: Versamark
Goodies: Shaker card kit from CC&M, dew drops from Flourishes, various markers, micro glass beads

This is my very first shaker card! Of course I cheated because I ordered a shaker kit from Creative Cuts and More! Literally the only thing I cut on this card is the Basic Gray paper, the lace, and the watercolor paper with the Bombshell Angel from Bombshell Stamps on it! The shaker kit comes with die cut foam, double-sided tape, the window-everything! All the dies are in the exact right size circle, too. You can choose from dozens of papers, of course I went with metallics, because I love them so!

Let's Twist!

Hi, Lisa here, and today I have a wonderful A2 Twist Card to share with you. I love the look of the Twist Card (aka Swing Cards), but never liked cutting them. Creative Cuts and More makes it super easy with their Exclusive A2 Twist Card. For my card, I had the base cut from Bazzill Smoothies Chocolate Cream, I added a layer of Bazzill Smoothies Watermelon Sensation on the Twist panel, and stamped my White panel.

To decorate my White panel, I stamped the sentiment from Kitchen Sink Stamps 3 Step Hibiscus in Memento Rich Cocoa. Then using Eclipse Tape I stamped and masked the flowers - all stamps Kitchen Sink Stamps (see below) in various Memento Inks, adding some leaves as needed. The Butterfly is stamped directly on the panel, then again on scrap paper, cutting off the antenna and popping it up over the stamped image. I sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip, then adhered to the Twist card.

For the back, I stamped the sentiment from Kitchen Sink Stamps 3 Step Daisy in Memento Rich Cocoa, then added a larger butterfly, stamped direclty on the panel, then stamped again cut out and popped on dimensionals.

To finish the card, I lightly misted both sides with Pearl Glimmer Mist. When folded flat, these cards fit nicely in regular Invitation sized envelopes.

Details:
Stamps - Kitchen Sink Stamps 3 Step Hibiscus, Multi Step Sunflowers, 3 Step Daisy, 3 Step Butterflies, 3 Step Hydrangea
Inks - Memento Black, Rich Cocoa, Dandelion, Cottage Ivy, Tangelo, Potters Clay, LuLu Lavendar, Sweet Plum, Angel Pink, Versafine Imperial Purple, Stampin' Up! Chocolate Chip, Pixie Pink
